Complaint Review: Nissan Shalikar - Torah Ohr - Great Neck New York

All humans are free to choose or distance themselves from any collection of sentient beings as long as they do no harm.  

If at some point, you reach the conclusion that there are irreconcilable differences between you and said group, you can debate with them all you like, choose another group of likeminded kindred spirits like yourself, or choose none.  You can choose any group or cause you desire - any form of activism, political, environmental, humanitarian, humanist, religious, theist, atheist, agnostic, theologically indifferent, cult, ethnicity, altruism, civic, conservative, progressive, athletic, philosophical, intellectual, national, governmental, professional, educated, uneducated, economic, ignorant...or even some type of non-violent supremacism like the ones that "nativists" who somehow claim an ancestry more "rooted" in the current location when their emotional buttons are pushed only to reveal underlying prejudices.

If a group of people desire to engage in religious activities of a certain nature, treat genders differently, impose their discriminatory rules upon entry, then the sensible thing to do would be separate yourselves from them.

If you blame their way of thought and practice based on ancestry and nation of origin then you are engaging in the same type of behavior that you are coitizing.  Religion, nationalism, racism, nativism, economic ideologies (capitalism, communism, socialism, economic libertarianism..) are all ideologies that people can conform to in order to socialize, bond with others, engage in community activities, preach, proselytize, rant, bring together, take apart, or influence humans.

Pick whichever cause, group, race, religion, prejudice, or pursuit of happiness you seek.

Singling out a particular community with a particular ancestry, culture, religion, or nationality and generalize your personal experience with a specific population, to all others who share their origins or commonalities for which they were born into, raised with, or believe in, just reflects your particular bigotry in relation to the bigotry that you experienced from specific individuals, influence makers, or others you have quarrels with.  This is hypocrisy under the guise of what, who, or why you believe you are right.

Most religions were founded at times when men retained power and religious and national laws reflected the particular gender that wrote and enforced them.  By holding people devoted to a form of historical orthodoxy of misogynist, profiteering, slave-owning, or any other type of bigotry accountable for sound judgement is akin to pestering a medieval European serf about being illiterate.  The same goes for zealots, ideologues, or fundamentalists of any kin, creed, culture, religion, or nation who preach from atop their soap boxes.

Religions, nations, gender roles, cultures, human migration patterns, and societal norms have been changing throughout human history. Most recently, religions gave way to national and economic ideologies.  Whereas before, governing entities would speak of a god's interest, they now speak of national interests.

Pick your poison, circus, bread, belief, or mission in life as you please.  A worthy cause that has consistently brought happiness during economically stable peacetime has been helping others.

Life depends on health and socioeconomic status.

Liberty depends on where you happen to be born or where you end up living.

You can always pursue happiness.  That pursuit can offer results regardless of achieving its  goal.

This matter ought to have been a personal issue between this character Shalikar and the person posting this. I regret involving the synagoge Torah Ohr in this matter. The fact is that Rabbi Kohan is a spiritual force in Great Neck. He is learning with congregants at 5:00 AM and leaves his post in the late evening hours daily.

This synagogue has a program to bring estranged Jewish children back to their roots that is successful and very well liked by the students who visit Torah Ohr to learn and partake of a sumptuous free lunch funded by generous congregants. 

I have spoken with several student participants who praise the lunch and learn program instituted by Rabbi Kohan and look forward to lunch and learning during school days.

Torah Ohr is a center of learning and a thriving congregation in the Great Neck / Kings Point area. I regret involving this institution in my dispute with one person and posting the original reports in the throes of anger I lashed out at everyone.

Be advised that I highly recommend Torah Ohr and I take this opportunity to thank the Rabbi and the Synagogue for their generosity in providing guest accomodations for me last winter. 

This group of thugs with no morals is attempting to intimidate this writer into removing the true and factual report about Sohrab Nissan Shalikar and his amoral bullying of others.  The man is suffering in business so he goes around lashing out at others...

Now comes this other bully Azizi using Rabbi Kohan's offices to harass this writer day after day into removing a report from this venue.  As most people know, NO report is ever removed from ROR.

After he followed me to the street, I told this Sohrab Shalikar that he is a bum and I warned the despicable bully that he would appear on page one of Google and he like most other cowards he said go ahead!  Now that he realizes the ramifications of others knowing what kind of inhuman pig he is, he has other bullies call and deprecate the writer of this post.  Azizi works under the direction of the coward Rabbi Kohan, who does not have the guts to call a meeting as requested by the writer to get the situation handled.  Instead, Kohan chose to tell the writer that he should wait two weeks until the matter cooled down and then return to the synagogue.

Can you imagine?  After the writer visited the Rabbi the day after Shalikar committed his infraction he was told to go away because once Shalikar took that position of expelling the congregant for no good reason, Kohan could do nothing.

Great Neck is infested with people like these who are pedantic, racist, supercilious, mostly ignorant fools who learn the Torah only to avoid practicing it.  The writer has inquired of several folks what they understood while they read aloud from the Gemara (Talmud), and in the case of a particular ignoramus named Koresh Ben Eliyahu; the man was honest enough to say he understood very little of what he had just finished reading.  

Koresh Ben Eliyahu enjoys tale bearing and spoke ill of this writer to other congregants in Farsi because like his teen-age son Netanel Ben Eliyahu who is an insolent cur, they are cowards who know little and speak much.  This tangential reference is made to evidence the fact that in Great Neck all you have to be to garner respect is Iranian.  My personal experience with Iranians is that they look down on anyone that does not live to chase money the way they do…  Not everyone wishes to run after something you cannot take with you.  The Egyptians tried that and all they got was robbed.

The Iranian rabbis I have met have a penchant for inventing information and passing it around town as facts.  Azizi claims that the writer 'made up' his report, these folks show up as pathological liars.  They lived in a land controlled by duplicitous Mohammedans who will say anything they think you want to hear and do the opposite.  Why according to Islamists no German Holocaust ever happened!

Here's the thing Azizi, after Rabbi Kohan took the position that the writer should eat the lies promulgated by Sohrab Nissan Shalikar, demands that the truth be removed from this site.  Shalikar you have zero integrity, you know you are a liar and a cheat and are not men enough to call for yourself, schedule a meeting and apologize for your transgressions.  You are an accursed man and as time goes on all your lies will catch up with you.

Azizi, one more call from you and we will see you in Court after obtaining a restraining order to keep you from harassing the writer of this report.  You think Iranians own Great Neck and Kings Point THINK AGAIN!

I expect nothing but dirty nasty dealing from Torah Ohr, Rabbi Kohan and his henchmen.  When confronted with reality, lie lie lie.  How does it feel to get done in for a change bullies?  Coming to Great Neck has solidified my view of Rabbis as a hindrance to the Jews for over two thousand years.  You are reprehensible bullies who earn a living by selling a return to the year Zero for women, and the dark ages for the rest.  More to come on other abusers in this forsaken town.  The new Sodom and Gemorrah.  Azizi: no more calls, understood?
