Complaint Review: No Mess No Stress Cleaning Service - 1554 FOREST LAKES CIR APT B WEST PALM BEACH, FL Florida

I called her based on an ad she put on craigslist in the cleaning services section.  This lady is crooked, she took my money and never cleaned my apartment!!   She told me one price initially, then asked me to mail a check since I was out of town. She then insisted that I wired her a down payment of 1/2 the total cost ($50), then after she went to my apt. she tells me she wants $300 total to clean a one bedroom apartment!!  

I had rented it before so I knew it was in bad shape but I was surprised to hear the huge increase, so I said "no thanks" and she said she would mail me back a check for my deposit.  I never got the check back.  She repeatedly ducked my phone calls and text messages after this.

I even offered to take $45 if she would use Western Union, since it costs $5 to use them. Despite this she claimed she sent a check.  I asked her to check with her bank but she is never got back to me. I was in West Palm for Thanksgiving and I borrowed someones phone to call her.  She was surprised to hear from me. I asked for my $50 back and she said she was out of town for a few days.

This time she told me that she sent me a money order she bought at the post office, which was not what she said before.  I thinks he is full of lies.  She told me she would check the next day with United States Postal Service  to see if the money order had been cashed, since she "had the serial number receipt at home."  This was on Thanksgiving so the US post office USPS was closed.

I called her the next day like she asked me to but she did not answer and she never got back to me.  She was on the phone with me the day before trying to make it sound like I cashed the money order and I wanted to milk another $50 out of her!  Telling me she will call USPS to verify if it was cashed..what a crook!

Furthermore I had a vacuum in the unit that disappeared and when I came back into town to inspect the unit it smelled like urine in the living room.  I had a few other people in the unit who I had giving the keycard access code to, but I did not have any issue like this with anyone else whom I had contacted.

For all I know this lady not only took my deposit of $50 but she could have taken the vacuum and even peed on the rug.  I admit the place was a disgusting mess in need of renovations, but I even asked her on Thanksgiving if she would just give me $25 I would be happy at that point, but she went on with her story about a money order this time and proceeded to ignore me the next day.

Maybe if you are there in person she will clean your place but believe me based on my experience with her I would not expect a good job and I would not leave anything even remotely valuable out.  I believe this person is not honest enough to run a business with someone out of town.  I would not even be comfortable mailing a check to her and good luck if you use her "services"

Here we are middle of December and I expect to never see a penny from this lady and I am have tempted to mail her a lump of coal for Christmas but I feel like she deserves something more stinky that I could not legally mail her.
