Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
My husband and I both received emails from this group claiming that our GPAs were high enough to warrant us getting a lifetime membership in their organization <I am c*m laude at my present university>. I filled out an application on their website and shortly thereafter I received a reply stating that I had been accepted, based their criteria, and was eligible to join their 'organization.' (Actually, the only person that I ever heard from in any emails I had received was someone named Louis Birch).

Thinking everything was legit and after doing a little research which made the organization look legit, I paid them the lifetime membership fee of ~$90.00 US. This all took place in April of 2009. I have just tried to find their website today, (Oct 03, 2009), and they are no longer a valid websites and the domains are for sale, (both http://www.naschonor.org and http://www.naschonor.net).

Well, not only am I still alive (so the lifetime membership is bogus), I am no longer able to access any of the items I paid my money to have access to and I do NOT want to put them on my Rsum. I feel they misrepresented themselves for the intent of collecting money from hard-working college students and had no intention of living up to their claims.

As a side note; I believe that many of the favorable reviews I found on the Internet about the NASC were actually for the National Association of Student Councils, as they both have the exact same acronym and the latter is very respectable (it makes me wonder if that was intentional or not).
