This to confirm Camphill, AL. CRM's report posted here on May 31, 2005 on this Company, North Leap, aka North Leap Omni; only the story gets a bit more twisted.

An ad ran in our local paper on Sunday, for an "office clerk position, full time or part time. $9.00 to $10 per hour. Call 409-456-0040. When I called that local number, I heard a recording that said, PLEASE CALL OUR NEW NUMBER 1-800-677-1641.

This is the SAME NUMBER that CRM gives in his report.

Upon calling that number, a very nice lady answered or so she sounded! I told her I was responding to the local paper ad for a FT/PT Office Clerk.

She told me "that position had been filled, but that they WERE looking for people to do data entry work at home for numerous employers in my area." The lady's name: You guessed it, Nancy Burton AT Ext. 162. Only thing is, she told me the Company was North Leap, located in Florida, (not California!) and that my state (Texas), was part of their Region. She did not give me a company address or even a city of location in Florida. I have listed "Southern" in the CITY field of this report, as it will not allow me to file this report without a city name, and I believe she stated they were in "southern Florida." She reported that North Leap had been in business since 1997. I asked for a website address, but she said they did not have one, "something had happened to it" and she thought "it may be back up next week sometime."

She advised that the work I would be doing I would pick up on Mondays and deliver back to the employers in the area on Friday and that I would be paid on Friday and that she currently had 30 employers in my area needing work done.

Unlike the fee that was stated to CRM, my fee was going to be $67.95 plus $12.00 shipping and handling. I wasn't ripped off because I didn't fall for their offer. It all sounded very phony to me from the very beginning.

I will be contacting my local newspaper and alerting them of this fraudulent company and hope others will be on the watch out for them in their areas.

Thanks RipOff Report for your awesome website I happened to find tonight while doing a Google search on this Company, North Leap.

I will look forward to linking your banner to my website --- which IS, by the way, for anyone interested, a powerful, one year old NEW network marketing program that is so very legit with a plan to beat all plans, that has proven its validity, reliability and commission payment plan to me by the checks I have received personally.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome!
