I just purchased a Daewoo and was told North Texas Nissan formerly Daewoo, did all the recall work, I spoke with Gary Glen numerous times Friday, Jan 21, 2005 about having two recalls repaired. We made an appointment for Tuesday, Jan 25 at 3:00. I explained to Mr. Glen that I would have to leave work early and wait for this repair as I live over an hour away.

When I arrived at North TX Nissan, I was told that they had bad news for me, they were not going to repair my car and would have to call Daewoo for authorization and then call daewoo for parts and they did not know when it would be but it was definitely not now. When I asked why I was not told this when I made my appointment I was told "Well, you didn't talk to me" and then I was told that the person I spoke to on Fri was no longer there- more lies- I met him when I arrived and shook his hand! They offered no apologies about my loss of time at work and were very rude, even laughing at me when I began to question them about there names and manager.

I am a single mom with three girls and every hour I miss from work takes a huge toll on our finances. I now lost 3 hrs work, the trip to Denton/Corinth and back (with my check engine light on the entire time-one of the recalls was a Cam sensor)and now I will have to travel to Arlington to get this recall fixed.
