Roger.... In no way, shape, form or regard do I support fraud or deception within the car business and as you know, there's TONS of it! But we need to look at some things which were/are completely under your control in this matter: 1. The pitman arm wear would have been easily determined IF you had the car inspected by YOUR OWN mechanic. LESSON: ALWAYS have a used car inspected by YOUR mechanic...a mechanic YOU PAY. If the dealer won't let you do this--WALK OUT! 2. Did you see the extra $9000 in the contract? Did you even READ the contract, Roger? LESSON: Always read the contract BEFORE you sign it. I said for YOU to READ it. DON'T ask the salesman to explain it to you. If you don't understand it, get a copy and find a friend/relative explain it to you. 3. You say they "rushed" you into signing the contract. Who controls your fingertips, Roger? Are you that much of a doormat you can let them control you? Go ahead get mad at me Roger. Maybe next time you'll remember YOU are important and YOU control the situation and NO salesman will "rush" you into doing anything. LESSON: Don't let any salesman control you. 4. You are upside down in the deal because YOU agreed to it! You are upside down because either you put little or no money down, you financed for a long term, your interest rate is very high. LESSON: Learn the basics of consumer finance. Arange financing on your own BEFORE you go into the dealership. Finance for a shorter term. Roger, so many people go into the car buying process without a clue of what they are doing. The slime of the car business know that. Then they move in for the kill. Don't make these mistakes in the next deal!

i am a former employee of nu star motors and believe every thing you said in your letter. i do know larry wong and know how he treats customers. once the contract is signed, it then needs to be financed through a bank. he is overwhelmingly nice to the customer's needs until the deal is financed. then the customer gets "nothing" and will like it. i was emoloyed there a very short time but know very well what they are capable of doing. it is the most underhanded crooked place to do business. if they were the last place selling cars i would rather ride a bicycle!!!
