Oakwood Homes Farmville, VA ripoff tricked and lied to us Farmville Virginia
We purchased a single wide trailer thinking it would be quicker to place on our property than building a house. The sales man said they would have us set up and ready to move in within 4-8 weeks. It was 8 months later when we final got a CO to move in.
When they were placing the trailer the driver hit a tree and damaged the trailer. They just covered the damage with new sideing. Later we noticed the whole back of the trailer looked like the ocean waves. We called and they sent an inspector from Tennesse he said all the studs were bowed and needed to be replace.
Well after 2 years and no one fixed it they said that there was nothing wrong with it. In the mean time we called the Housing Authority that did nothing for us. Now after 5 years the back is worse now moisture has made my walls sink in, mildew is inside the walls (I'm alergic). The salesman does not care the company does not care and the Houseing Authority does not care. I should have a brand new home, but I have a damaged home I'm paying full price for. Let me miss a payment they will come and get it. And then tell me I damaged it I bet.
