Oakwood Homes to File For Bankruptcy The Associated Press November 16. 2002 11:59AM GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Oakwood Homes, the nation's No. 2 retailer of manufactured homes, says it will file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and cut 1,700 jobs - about a fifth of its workforce. The company, which also builds mobile homes, is facing $570 million in debt and has been losing money for the past three years. Well i worked for a heating and cooling company for years. The dealer ship hires a contractor to install the a/c and or heatpump.my suggestion to you is go to the diler ship and find out who does theas installes for them.And have them call that company to find out that the order for your unit was receved.if the order has been receved than you need to contact the installr to secudal installation.
