Oakwood Homes sold us the wrong house, has not fixed any problems due to moving and setting up, harrasing phone calls about payments that are there Charlotte North Carolina
We purchased this manufactured home in may of 2000. Did not get moved in till the end of October 2000. Had no walk through inspection for 8 months. I have 5 pages of work orders that was to be fixed before we moved in, i still have the work orders and have not had anyone come fix anything. We have fixed the plumbing and walls ourselves so we can live in the house. I feel we really got ripped off! The new house we bought got delivered to someone else so we have a used title for a home thats supoose to be brand new. Phone calls have got me no where.
The finance part of oakwood went bankrupt so now we have a new company for the loan payments, they call and harrass me at work and at home constantly, they won't work with me on getting anything fixed but if the payment is a day late they know how to contact me. The problems on the home are to numerous to mention them all on here at this time. I just hate feeling cheated about my home that was suppose to be such a great deal.
