Oasis Day Spa And Salon Jeniffer Hair insisted i pay in cash, ripped me off, and laughed in my face. Claremore Oklahoma
i went to jennifer hail with great expectations, being the only salon in oklahoma that does the yuko straightening system. she told my dad she only accepts cash, and wouldn't take his card. should have seen the red flag. she said she had done the system well over 100 times, experience being key to the system working. she applied the straightening solution very sloppy, and finished my waist lenghth hair in two hours.
later i found out after i called the yuko headquarters in beverly hills that it should have taken a minimum of four. when she was finished she told me i was only the 12th person to get it done becaus everyone in oklahoma is so cheap. i asked her about the hundreds she had done, and she said she did them at the yuko academy. i asked her how much i owed her, and she said $500, which is a lot to a teenager like me.was told not to wash my hair for three days.
72 hours later i washed my hair. it was frizzy, coarse and way overprocessed, and the line where she applied the solution an inch from my scalp is now a permanent indention that is slowly growing out. i called her and said i wanted a refund, and she said she never had anyone complain before. she proceeded to tell me she just redid a womans hair and she loved the results. how can you have redone a woman's hair without her complaining about it? i asked her, and she hung up on me.
i called her back immediatly, and i could hear her talking in the background to her friend"like i would ever come off $500 for her, then the phone was slammed down, she said it was an accident, but realy she is just a moron who incriminated herself. she told me every time i called she wrote it down, the piece of garbage was already preparing for a lawsuit.
she told me the best she could do was have her friend meet up with me and assess the damage to my hair. meet up for a biased opinion? she hung up on me. it wasn't enough that i lost 7 inches of my hair due to chemical damage, the entire point was that i was promised perfectly straight hair, and i ended up losing several inches, my hair feels like straw and now it is more frizzy and out of control then ever. it was 8 months ago.
i was told about this website by a friend recently, and couldn't be more grateful it exists. nobody would take my case because it was just $500 to them, but for me its the principle.
if you are reading this, i hope you will take into account what stress and anguish, and sleepless night i went through, what comes around goes around now, doesn't it. i am currently in the process of having her removed from yuko beauty.com, and i am positive it can be done, so you, the consumer, just like me will not be ripped off.
