EDitor's Report:
Unfortunately, Rip-off Report is seeing this as a disturbing trend among many companies, including insurance companies, credit card companies, mortgage companies, bank auto loans, but more distressing is the inclusion of banks, which are governed by the Treasury Department.
This is a newly discovered revenue stream that more and more of Corporate America is discovering they can get away with! Ask yourself, "If the shoe was on the other foot and consumers had figured out a way to take money from corporations, they would have their huge legal departments harass and otherwise take punitive actions against the culprits. This is no different than consumers who steal from companies, except the companies are bigger, have more resources, and hide behind their attorneys. It's time to hold BIG BUSINESS accountable and not let them get away with their amorality, fraud, and theft from hard-working Americans.
WHAT CAN I DO?
My payments are always made on time, but when I get my next statement, ..it's always marked like I made the payment late and I am charged additional Late Payment fees
SOLUTION TO YOUR PROBLEM
About 7 days before your payment is due, take your payment stub and your check already made out with your account number on it to a BIG law firm in your area. Definitely take this to a large law firm.. When you get there, ask to see a lawyer. Ask them to do you a simple favor that might be a very lucrative case for them. Tell them, here in my right hand is a stamped, addressed envelope and in your left hand is a check make out to the company that you owe the payment to.
Simply ask the firm to mail this for you 7 days before your payment bill/stub says it's due. Then, ask them to mail it for you again if you come back the next month with late payment fees marked on the bill. During the following month, return to the attorney's office with your next envelope, check and, the late payment fee. Ask the lawyer if their office would be willing to sue them for you, because a class action lawsuit is a definite possibility.
Then, notify the attorney about all the Rip-off Reports on this company. Explain that if the attorney would like to contact us here at the Rip-off Report, we will make arrangements with them to contact additional victims. They should also know that we would notify the victims to contact the lawyers with their sworn affidavits as to what the company has done to them, so that they can join a class action lawsuit if one is filed.
ORGANIZING A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT
Additionally, any attorney who is interested in suing a particular company on this website may contact us directly. It is generally inappropriate to solicit business using this website other than through prior arrangement. This is largely because we need to ensure, the best we can, that our readers are not being taken advantage of, once again.
If you see a company with a good number of reports, we have the database of contact information for those victims. Often we have additional information which does not appear on the Rip-off Reports. We are anxious and willing to join forces to stand up for the rights of consumers and help them get justice.

It might sound bold; but allowing them to kick you out of your home is worse. So, I'll tell you what I do with my payments. I keep record of everything and since I can not afford a lawyer they won't buy, this is my personal court file.
So, send your checks (Certified, you need proof of your payments or the green cards). After they cash the checks if you get them back, make copies of these checks front and back, make copies of their monthly statements too.
Make copies of their illegal letters with their envelopes (if they do not sign their letters, as usual) Go to a public notary and make a simple Affidavit declaring that proper communication with your Servicer (no need to mention their name in the Affidavit if you don't want to, they will see it in the checks anyway)is impossible and that you want the general public to know you make your payments on time.
You can type your Affidavit yourself. You then attach several pages with copies of your monthly statements and cancelled checks to the Affidavit. (3 or 4 pages will suffice if you do it on quarterly basis). Every page attached to the Affidavit has to read at the top like this: Exhibit A, Exhibit B, etc.
If you do it in this manner they will let you to record it in your county's Recorder's Office. Do not tell Ocwen anything about this. They will find it out sooner or later and the judges respect Affidavits because they show courage and are indicative of honesty.
No one in his or her right sense would not be honest in this kind of public document. On the other hand, you have to accept that any one could read your Affidavits and find out about your problems with them. In case of a hearing, you will have vital proof of your correct payments, and the court will know you paid. I takes courage (a little bit).
In my case, I had to forget my pride in order to expose myself. It was difficult at the beginning, is easy now, and I don't care if they find it out and don't like it. It is perfectly legal and I have the right to defend myself. It is also inexpensive. $6 first page, $5 each other, in my county. It might be about the same in yours.
Don't let them destroy your life and the lives of your love ones without putting up a furious fight first. By exposing a victimized but a decent and innocent you, you expose the real criminal, Ocwen, the cruel, guilty Ocwen.
You can record their illegal letters in the same manner. Do not forget to send copies to the credit bureaus too (your credit is you HONOR and they like to destroy it because if you have no HONOR no one will desire to help you when they come after you).
In my opinion, these people are not to be trusted when they talk to you. They are to be exposed so if they want to victimize us, and if they are going to do it, at least in my case, I'll make it a public event thing, not a private, secret misery.
I already told them that my Misery will not come without their public Shame. And they have a lot more to be afraid of than us.
Good Luck.
