First off I would like to say that I was shocked to see so many complaints against OCWEN! I don't understand how they can still be in business.

My husband and I purchased our home last spring. Our mortgage company sold our loan to OCWEN but the sale never recorded because the loan was reconveyed. Now OCWEN is trying to foreclose on our home for none payment when they are not even listed on Title with the county that we live in.

According to county records, OCWEN has never been recorded on Title as being our new mortgage company, so how can they demand payment from us?! How can they put us in Default for none payment?

They continue to have a recording named Jordan or Wendy call our home leaving a 800 return number. When I call back it gives me the voice mail of Micheal Neal. I leave messages on his phone, I send e-mails to his personal mail and not once have I heard anything back from anybody. This has been going on since November 2003.

This is crazy! We should not be fighting a company that has absolutely NO legal ties to us in anyway. We tried to refinance and OCWEN jumped in and stopped the whole process. Our refinance recorded and funded. Two hours later the same escrow/title company that recorded and funded our refi., froze our account and withdrew all funds because of OCWEN.

How can they have that much power and control when they are not even on title?! Anybody having a similar problem? This is absolutely ridiculas.

I know what I'm going to do. I'm suing EVERYBODY!!

Call your state Attorney General's Office

Your state attorney general's office normally will investigate situations such as yours. I would get them involved, plus they should help you at little or no cost to you because it is in the interest of the people of your state. Even though they are national, Ocwen has to play according to the rules in your state of Washington. The state AG office has the resources and the lawyers that we as ordinary consumers just can't afford. Good luck.
