Odyssey Enterprises Ripoff Non payment for service rendered Chicago Illinois
I was called by Tony Andrews to refinish a tub in his partner's (Michael O'Connor) condo. Tony told me his partner was on vacation, but to leave the bill on the counter and he would send a check.
I waited one week and no money came in. I called several times with no calls-back. I made a personal visit to Michael O'Connor at home on Sunday. He claimed to be just back from vacation with no cash. He told me the tub looked great and he would send a check as soon as he got to the office on Monday. We are now going on 4 weeks with no check. I did call him last week and he assured me that it was sent out. Liar.
These guys claim to be a real estate devlopment company, but who can't find an ATM for a lousy $425.00 if they don't have a check handy to write out.
I'm a one man operation a cash flow loss of $425 hurts, but what hurts more is the fact that I busted my a*s doing this job on the second floor. Thes guys are scumbags, don't do any work for them.
