Office Max - EasierRebates.com Rebate rip-off for $30 gift card rebate on HP Photosmart printer offer from June-03 Shaker Heights, Ohio
Another OfficeMax rebate victim. Easier Rebates handled OM $30 rebate on a HP printer purchase. 8 weeks go by so I go online and check status at easierebate.com. Says 'There are errors on you claim submission: The receipt sent in does not match the product being claimed for a rebate.' Huh?? Did I send in my drycleaning bill instead? Nope. So I again submitted a copy of the invoice 2 weeks ago and sent an email to Easierripoffs.com and to OfficeMax as well.
The customer phone lines didn't work and the voicemail was full at Rebate Service Center. Maybe I'll never get what I'm owed but Officemax will never see another cent from me. Done alot of rebates but this is the first time I've been stiffed and the last from these guys.
