Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Well, they got us too!!! All they did was take the 2 thousand dollars we didn't really have to give and file extensions. They filed extension after extension meanwhile all our bank accounts were levied and levied. Leaving us with not enough money in our accounts to even feed our children at one point. Lots of promises and little action.

I actually got more help when the IRS actually came to my home and helped me out. The IRS agent that came to my home helped me cancel the POA for OMNI FINANCIAL and get everything caught up. Sad to say but the IRS is a lot easier to work with then the people at OMNI and you actually get results.

People Are Filing Complaints On This Site After Contacting Omni And NOT Getting Anywhere With Problem Resolutions

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Fri, August 07, 2009

What I don't understand is why Omni's standard response to Slyslegs complaint is: "Please Contact Us." A thorough reading of all the complaints on this site clearly shows many people filing these complaints HAVE contacted Omni Financial about their billing/service issues (some several times) to try and resolve them and haven't gotten anywhere. That is why they file complaints on this site and others, out of frustration. As an ex-employee of Omni, I know for a fact that individuals who have filed complaints here had an Associate (direct representative) assigned to them to resolve their tax debt problem. These Associates are in continuous contact with their clients for service and billing reasons and believe me if a client is unhappy with the level of service they are getting or for inappropriate billing, they are going to let their Associate know about it several times over. Every time that client complains to their Associate, Omni is given the opportunity to resolve their issue. Every time. If an Associate and/or Production Manager fails to resolve the clients problem after numerous complaints have been made, Omni has squandered its opportunities to resolve that problem. At that point, the company shouldn't be surprised when their client gives up and seeks other avenues to air their grievences and warn others about Omni's failings. It is therefore Omni's responsibility to resolve the complaints from its clients when they are brought to its attention, it is NOT the client's responsibility. To say, "Please Contact Us" in response to client complaints here is an incorrect and obvious attempt by Omni to put that responsibility on the client for problem resolution, not themselves. As detailed above, clients have ALREADY contacted Omni about their billing/service issues in communicating with their Associates and failed to make any headway on them. Omni was given the chance when the client contacted them to resolve their problem and they failed to take advantage of it. Now it is Omni's responsibility to make the effort to resolve past customer issues and the resulting complaints that have appeared on this site. The client has already made the effort, it is now Omni's turn. While some individuals on this site have chosen anonymous names in conjunction with their complaints, many others have at least listed their first names and the city they live in. Since Omni Financial has an extensive customer database with customer names and addresses, they should make the effort to cross reference the names and locations in complaints with their records to determine the full names, addresses and phone numbers of these individuals. Even the limited information left by the complainants should be sufficient to establish an identity and the Associate that was assigned to this person after a little research. From there, Omni should make the effort to contact these people and resolve their problems. Don't ask the complainants to contact Omni, they have already tried that and it didn't work for them. They see no point in contacting you again or any use in trying so requests to contact Omni again at this stage are going to fall on deaf ears. Instead Omni make the effort and please contact THEM. You might just be given one last opportunity to resolve a client problem and have that client put a positive update on their complaint from your initiative. Otherwise, the continued status quo approach to complaints on this site and others will only result in additional client complaints being filed against Omni in the present and future.

Dear Slyslegs, Omni Financial is committed to our client's interests. We will immediately reconcile legitimate claims made against our work product. Unfortunately we are unable to substantiate anonymous criticisms. Without establishing the credibility of disputes made by unidentified parties Omni is unable to effect resolution. Please contact us immediately to rectify any concerns. Sincerely, Omni Management

Well I was recently contacted by this company. I had them send me information to my email and when you read their agreements they are scary open ended for them to bill you with no guarantees. When I told them I the guy I was not interested he tried to argue and I hung up. He called me back and I asked him to lose my number and he called me a Jack@ss! Now that to me proved I made the right choice!!!

Omni's Failure To Communicate

#5UPDATE EX-employee responds

Tue, April 28, 2009

As an ex-associate/employee of Omni Financial, I am familiar with how they operate. As a "Tax Resolution Specialist" (not a title used by Omni employees, they are either Associates or Assistants) from Omni, you should not assume that the consumer in this case was ever told that Omni does not file tax returns or extensions. The consumer had it communicated to them that extensions of some sort were being filed on their behalf and subsequently they believed this to be true. When this turned out to not be the case according to Slyslegs posting, the responsibility for this communication failure falls directly on Omni for not stating the company does not file taxes or extensions, not the consumer. Telling Slyslegs you don't prepare tax returns and extensions now is after the fact, it should have been communicated to them upfront by their Associate before any work was done for them. Although it is suggested that Slyslegs contact a production manager, he or she would be better served by filing a complaint directly with the Denver-Boulder branch of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to get their problem resolved as Omni Financial is a member of the BBB. Their website link is: http://denver.bbb.org

And stating that, you would not have gotten any extensions filed. If you feel that your associate did not handle your case, please feel free to call the production manager to resolve your issue.
