On April 2, 2013 I ordered a laptop from www.onlinemarket360.com for $899.00, no tax, and free shipping and paid the purchase via PayPal. On April 3, 2013 I was informed my order had been shipped and that tracking information would follow in 4 to 5 days. At the end of day 5, I requested tracking information and the mode of shipment. I received a quick reply stating tracking information would follow within 24 hours. After 48 hours with no more contact, I started to research this company via the internet and learned that others had undergone similar situations and never received what was ordered. A review from a wise consumer advised to file a dispute with PayPal and escalated the dispute to claim. Then follow up with a phone call explaining the situation to a PayPal representative. I follow the advise and file the dispute, then escalated it to a claim. PayPal contacted the seller who provided a phony tracking number but not date of shipment, expected delivery date or shipping company. At this point I called PayPal who in a matter of minutes confirmed the tracking number was phony and settled the case in my favor, thus returning funds to my credit card. The game here is try and provide false information and string consumers along beyond the time frame allotted to fill a dispute. I got my money back but only because I was warned of the rip off and provided clear instructions as to how to deal with the situation.
