Onlinesupplier.com Charged me for something I did not get or use because I did not opt out - I didn't even know I was IN!!!! California Internet
I saw a $30.00 dollar charge on my credit just this October 2006 and did not know what it was.
The only clue was it say on the credit card statement:
8009309932 ONLINE SUPPL 800-9309932
So I decided to call them and ask what company it was. The person who took my call was not listening or was not helpful at all. He told me I was being charged a monthly membership fee. I told him I have no idea what he was talking about and that I didn't get anything in the mail He then proceeded to tell that I should have opted out after the 14-day free trial... how do i opt out of something I didn't even know I was a member of? Then he proceeded to tell me that I should have called - called what? I didn't get anything in the mail!
I found out that they have been charging me since May 2006! That's $180!!!!!!
When I asked for a refund he tells me it's non-refundable...what a SCAM!!!!!!!! Now I need to report my card stolen so it can be replaced and they won't be able to charge me anymore.
