I was told that I would have to wait another 6-8 weeks for my check once they approved my rebate. I received my $50.00 rebate check a few days ago, much faster than anticipated. Thank you Ripoff Report!!

As of 10/31/2005, I have been advised by OnRebate that they will now honor the rebate. I will post complete success when the check arrives.

On the rebate form I singed it states that I have read and agreed to the terms of the rebate as described on the OnRebate.com website, but this only appears after all the information has been filled out and the rebate form printed for submission. When I looked for the terms I only located a terms of use link for the website, after complete review of these terms there was no mention of this restriction and basically describes terms of use for your website. If you are going to have additional restrictions then the ones that print out on the form they should be easily located, and restrictions that invalidate the rebate should be printed on the form itself! These restrictions are not listed at ALL on the manufactures rebate form, but are added by OnRebate.com and are placed in an obscure place and an email that arrives after the fact. In addition it states in the email instructions that the names must match "if applicable", nowhere does it state that it applies to this particular rebate anywhere on the form or in the email instructions. You claim this if for the prevention of FRAUD, Well I can assure you I am not trying to defraud you, I only want what I am due. Check your records are there any more claims to anyone at the address listed on my rebate form, or for anyone with the same name or invoice number? If you are trying to prevent duplicate claims then surely you would use the invoice number (which you ask for on your form) to prevent duplicate filings. If I had used the manufacturers rebate form, instead of the one supplied by Onrebate, then this restriction would not even be in question, as I stated before it does not appear on the form supplied by Ultra Products! It appears to me by omitting this restriction on the form itself when I was entering the information that you are attempting to "TRICK" the filer out of receiving their rebate. It would be a simple matter to have ALL THE RESTRICTIONS listed under line item # 4 that states "This Submission Requires:" rather then have it somewhere else on the website that is no longer in view when the form is being filled in. I await your reply Thank You

Dear Kenneth- It is stated on our Terms and Conditions page that the infomation on the rebate form must match the information on the invoice. The two documents get compared at the time of processing to avoid fraud. Please note that we have your signature that proves you read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions. If you wish to further discuss this please email [email protected]
