OnRebte.biz nonexistant rebates Ripoff internet
Purchased a Mio GPS receiver from ShopNBC with a promised rebate. Received the unit quickly and in good condition but with no information about a rebate.
Contacted ShopNBC and only then learned HOW to get the rebate. Ok so far. After directing me to their site to get the rebate code number, they then directed me to OnRebate.biz. The OnrRebate site repeatedly blew up with a series of error messages.
Tried again several days later and the site is completely dead - apparently no longer exists. Contacted customer services at ShopNBC via email and told them that the OnRebate.biz site was dead and they helpfully directed me to go to the OnRebate site where I would get my rebate(!). Botttom line - I'm out 20 bucks. Not life changing but...
