Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I purchased a truck at sierra vista, az on a weekend and put 5000.oo down on a 15000.oo truck I had good credit at the time they gave us the truck and said we would get the papers monday on the loan.6 weeks later we got them . I never saw the interest on the amount owed We tryed to make a payment early an they would keep it till the payment was due before deposit.

Later I lost My job and fell behind now they charge 140.oo late fee plus 10.00 every 10 days. We ask for a refinance. They said no. We ask for the payoff on the truck. They said they could not give that information because there was early payoff fees late fee and some others so we would have to just pay the loan out. The harassament calls come at all hours of the day an night 2 or 3 an hour and calls to my mom and dad that are very old and live in Texas an are in bed early this scares them. they called my employer so much that he fired me that made it even harder to pay them.

Now I am doing what I can to pay but it get harder all the time. I don't think they will ever let me pay it off. Been paying 4 years and I still owe 9293.oo at 400.oo per mo. What do I do.

I work for Onyx Acceptance Corporation. One thing that this gentleman who purchased a truck at sierra vista, az on a weekend and put 5000.oo down on a 15000.oo didn't mention is that Onyx Acceptance has never and is currently not in the consumer loan business. We only accept customers through a dealership. That means that when this person went to the dealership to buy the truck he gave the $5,000.00 to the person at the dealership. He would of had to sign the contract at the dealership. That contract would of had the interest on the loan & the final payment.. If he did not receive this form then he needs to wonder why he signed his name to a contract or even gave the guy $5,000.00 How did the guy at the dealership come to the amount of $5,000.00. His story doesn't make common sense. If anyone doesn't understand this they should contact an atty & I'm sure they would tell you that there has to be more to the story then what's been posted. If the rep was really calling three times in an hour the customer would have contacted his states atty general who would have informed him of the FDCPA law. His complaint is incomplete. Onxy Acceptance is not responsible for anything related to the dealership - only the money that we loan!
