I work for Onyx Acceptance Corporation. One thing that this gentleman who purchased a truck at sierra vista, az on a weekend and put 5000.oo down on a 15000.oo didn't mention is that Onyx Acceptance has never and is currently not in the consumer loan business. We only accept customers through a dealership. That means that when this person went to the dealership to buy the truck he gave the $5,000.00 to the person at the dealership. He would of had to sign the contract at the dealership. That contract would of had the interest on the loan & the final payment.. If he did not receive this form then he needs to wonder why he signed his name to a contract or even gave the guy $5,000.00 How did the guy at the dealership come to the amount of $5,000.00. His story doesn't make common sense. If anyone doesn't understand this they should contact an atty & I'm sure they would tell you that there has to be more to the story then what's been posted. If the rep was really calling three times in an hour the customer would have contacted his states atty general who would have informed him of the FDCPA law. His complaint is incomplete. Onxy Acceptance is not responsible for anything related to the dealership - only the money that we loan!
