Opticom - NCIC - Zero Plus Dialing ripoff on collect calls Longview Texas
I receieved charges on my telephone bill for 3 collect calls totaling $105.00. Two were under NICI and one from Opticom. I don't know if these are two different companies or one using two different names. I called Bell South saying I wanted to pay my Bell South bill but wanted to dispute these other charges. They told me the way they had been billed I had to pay the whole bill or my service would be cut off. They gave me the number for XEP to file a claim.
I'm not sure what XEP is but I called them at 1-888-371-0734 and told them Bell South had told me to call to make a claim. They transferred me to NCIC who told me they would take nine dollars off my bill. I told them that was unsatisfactory so they gave me an address to write to. I don't know if it will do any good to write now since I had to go on and pay my bill but I am going to do what I can to expose them.

I think I'm being affiliated with Opticom, but NCIC has nothing to do with that company. If you can give me Juanita's information, I'd be glad to contact her and see if the charges were in fact from NCIC in Longview and give her a credit. In the future, use 1XXXXXXXXXX for collect calls...that's the cheapest way to call. Thanks for your help.
