I can completely understand the anger for your situation, truly I can. I too have had very unpleasant experiences through the court systems. However, I think you need to take a few steps back from your own situation and really look at everything from all points of view. From your post I am assuming that you are a young college student of a race other than white/Caucasian. Especially if this is true I am sure you do see discrimination at times, so I cannot help but feel apathy. Now my look from the outside - having so many young college students here in Orlando, not including the thousands that come here for spring breaks, festivals, and other such "fun-in-the-sun" events means an extreme amount of chaos for the local law enforcement to deal with here. They deal with one obnoxious young college drunk after another, and the young women are the worst because they for some reason tend to be much more unpleasant to deal with behavior-wise. (Side Note - Does this mean all young college students are like this? Not at all...it simply means we have a larger concentration of fine young college students here so the amount of party going trouble makers will be higher also.) (Side Note 2 - Even though this may be true, does it give law enforcement the right to behave in a non-professional manner? Absolutely not.) However, we are all human so honestly...even though it was wrong I understand "why" the officer may have reacted the way he did. We all have bad days, and you have no idea what he had to deal with that day before you came along. Not making excuses for him at all, if he did indeed behave this way it was still wrong. My point is if you reacted this rash when he approached you with the violation (which you agree you committed) then you may very well have provoked his reaction in turn. ....just a thought. Now let us look at another thing you admitted to honestly in your post. You stated you had not one, not two or three, but "several" traffic violations. Have they all been paid? What types of traffic violations? I am sorry but if you truly have "several" traffic violations then the judge probably was doing you a favor. I realize being young and embarrassed by the entire situation makes that hard to admit but it may very well be true. So, my advice although not asked for I figure people post their feelings about anything publicly in hopes to get responses so here goes. First thing I would suggest is take that race card you are trying to play and put that sucker back in the deck it came out of. I see absolutely nothing in your posted account of the incident that can bring about any charges or accusations of racism. Racism, Rape, Murder...all these things are not just words my dear young lady...these are powerful accusations that should never even be uttered publicly unless you have proof in stone. This is a lesson all young people need to learn quickly in life. The second part of my advice is - try to use a little less temper and look at things from all angles before you jump to conclusions, get upset, or make judgments. I am not saying you were or were not treated badly or wrongly. All I am saying is we need to all take responsibility for our own actions, treat each other has human beings, and not be so quick to anger...anger will cloud the judgment of the wise.

How is he a Racist? Based on what you said you can say that he is "SEXIST" but not a racist. There is no mention on what race You or the judge is.

Sorry to hear about your problem, I do not think it is right for law enforcement to mock, humiliate or anything of that nature and I think they should be dealt with when they do. However I have some questions to ask: Have you been to traffic school a few times? Did you do anything illegal? NO I don't agree that people should be treated differently in any manner at all. Although, I have found that if you do not make illegal turns, speed, ect. police usually don't bother you. Just because some one commits a crime or breaks the law, does not mean it is ok for you to. My suggestion is to obey the law then come back and make a complaint when they harass you for just minding it. Again, I am sorry you were treated in a bad manner
