PALISADES COLLECTION Dbw Collins Financial Service rip-off on charge offs! Englwood New Jersey
I didn't know this was legal. I have just found out through a re-financing process that I had something else to pay off. Something I'd never heard of! $559.00 to Palisades Collections. For days I called 800-991-9367 and got a busy signal all night and then again at 6 and 6:30am! I finally got through today and was told that it was an AT&T wireless account that was opened in May 1998 and charged off in 1999. Palisades purchased the account in July of 2004.
Jadine, the representative I spoke to, was not aware of any notification to me. She said that the account was now being handled by Collins Financial Services @ 1800-570-5007. I didn't get this gentleman's name who repeated the same information. After repeatedly asking how many letters were I sent? How do I know this exists? How do I know they are trying to collect a debt.. he finally told me a letter was sent in Sepember 2004.... the address?? the one I left in October 1998!!! Six years ago! now what?
