Palm Chevrolet / Kia Warranty ripoff, will not honor warranty. Ocala Florida
My daughters 2001 Kia Sephia was running very rough. I called Kia roadside assistance to tow vehicle. After over 3 1/2 hours waiting they towed vehicle to Palm Chevrolet on College rd in Ocala Florida. They called back and said that the problem was the catalytic converter and that they would not cover the work because they "assumed" that the converter had clogged due to "improper maintenance" We have all maintenance records and have taken very good care of it. They told me that it would cost me 1200.00 to have it repaired by them. We bought the car due to the great warranty, but if they weasel out of the warranty work, the car is worth nothing but a boat anchor. I am persuing this further.
