Palm Harbor/ clayton Omes deceptive and fraud Clanton Clanton Alabama
on dec 26, 2007 we signed a contract with palm harbor homes along with a $500 check that was cashed on 12/28/07 for a new home. we were told everday we would be closing on our home and on 01/18/08 we were told that palm harbor was sold to clayton homes which we were still being told by lanett that we were closing. on 02/27/08 we were informed by parnell that everything we had been told up to that point was a lie and he did not have to honor our contract. we have no one working on putting us in a home and we are out our money and dont know where it is. we have filed a complaint with the attorney general office of alabama and also with hudd. we have filed complaints with palm harbor and clayton homes and no response to this matter yet. all we want is for someone to honor our contract.
