I find it strange that you have so much information on this event, including my name even though I was associated with the convention for a few weeks. It seems that you might be a little more involved than you're letting on. My only contact with the McCoy's was one face to face meeting and about half a dozen phone conversations. When several questionable withdrawls were made from the event account that was set up to pay for the location, insurance, speakers, and such, I decided to hand over control to the husband and wife. I took no money from any account. I had no access to any money for their group.
This seems like two things here. One, you are closely associated with the going on within the group responsible for this fraud. Two, your last name is McCoy and you're trying to deflect from your fraud because you felt I would never see this post. I assure you that naming me as the one that was involved in this was a huge mistake.

I was just made aware of this report and I would like to add information about my involvement with this convention. I was contacted by the two individuals that were trying to put together a convention in their area. I explained how to set up the ticket purchasing sit elinked to a paypal account. After explaining everything to them so that they could put on a successful convention, they asked me if I would be interested in helping them administer the business end of the convention and that they would pay me a fee. I agreed, and set up all the sites that would be needed for this event, in their names.
It was within a few weeks that I began to question the activities that the two individuals were undertaking. After talking with my legal representitive, we came to the conclusion that it would be best to end our business relationship with the two individuals. This was done and all account log in information was handed over to the husband and wife. This is the only involvement that I had with the event and I never had access to the money that paid for tickets. The two individuals proved by moving the event several times, and the misuse of the funds for personal use that I had made the right decision. I am sorry that people lost money, but the real individuals that should be blamed are the husband and wife, not myself that barely had any dealings with the event at all.

I too, purchase tickets from the McCoys. After the debacle with the paranormal convention being cancelled I sought answers to the many questions that I had regarding tickets refunds and/ or rescheduling dates. I conducted my own investigation into the incident and learned that a man by the name of Don Dennis was the only person who had sole control over the pay pal account and that at no time did the McCoys ever have any access to our money. I also learned that not only did this Don Dennis fellow steal all of our money but the he also stole about $1200 from Frank and Jennifer McCoy's own group so they ended up losing more than we did plus this guy left them to pick up the pieces of what he had done. As for Mrs. McCoys new car... That bothered me for awhile at first as well. Until I learned that it came at a pretty heavy price when a relative very near and dear to her past away and left her a small inheritance, which she then in turn used to purchase a new vehicle. Your entire complaint was based on speculation and assumptions. You should have done your homework. If you want your money back, find this Don Dennis guy. I Have sent him letters already,
