I have been a loyal customers for over 30 years, in California. When I moved to Las Vegas, I was ripped off.

Approximately 2 months ago, I brought my classic car 66 Dodge Dart GT to Pep Boys on 4670 E Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89121  to adjust the points on my car manually. The car was running great, to the point where Joe Gaglia (General Manager) offered to adjust the timing for free.

Then came along an old hillbilly named Dexter, whose supposedly was the big kahuna for classic cars, said that I should go to SoCal, a high peformance parts store, and purchase an electronic ignition and a new coil for $250. After I purchased the parts I came back to the store and found out that Dexter was sent home for agruing with managments.

I made an appointment for another day and Dexter was not was not their for my appointment that day. So I came back yet again another time and he was finally there. Dexter installs the electronic ignition after screaming and yelling at Brian Massia (Service Manager), with profanity laced with insults at each other, but more importantly the car would not run properly. Now I was told to buy a new carubrator for $400 and was to pay an additional $275 for the labor, which now I have payed at total of over $1200. After installing the new carburator the car still wouldn't run properly so Brian and Joe were fed up trying to fix my car and just told me to leave, with a car that is more broken.

I called the corporate office and talked to Gayle Cragger, which she did not want to help me. Then I called the Pep Boys Supervisor of Nevada, Shan, in which he directed me to the  4155 S Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89103 location. They tried to fix the car, but couldn't, without realizing that the carburator was defective. Now I have a blown engine with two bad cylinders and they had the car for 30 days trying to fix it. My car hasn't run for two months, I have lost time from work and I am currently sueing them  to rebuild the engine and damages up to $7500 at the small claims court in Las Vegas.

My first expirence with Pep Boys on 637 E Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89104 with manager Jerry was another disaster, effecting the steering wheel due to shotty mechanical work, which I was able to resolve the issue out of court.

I adivse anyone who wants reliable car mechnaical work to never trust Pep Boys as my experience with them proves it.

Joe Gaglia and Brian Massia are psychaotic when I into the location Joe and Brian were arguing using profanity. Customers in the store were shocked. I was never ordered out of the store and Pep Boys decided to pay me because they knew they would lose in court.

They do terrible work and I do not reccommend people going to there shop.

Rex Reginald is a rip off artist. He tried to sue new line cinema after they made the movie wedding crashers. He states they stole the idea from him. He supposedly wrote a screenplay called party crashers. It is all over the internet. He was also on CNN. He is also listed on crackpots.com. He came to our store with his car which was hardly running. We tried to help him out but when we could only do so much for his old worn out 1966 dodge dart he became belligerent. We told him to leave our store. All we did to his car was replace his old points ignition system with a new electronic ignition system and a.New carb because his old one was missing parts. We went to mediation and he was asking for $7.000.00. The company offered him $1.000.00. He turned that down. After mediation he realized that when it would have went to trial he would have lost so he settled for 1.200.00. The corporation only paid him so he would go away. The corporation also stated that with this he is no longer permitted to enter a pep boys property legally.
