United States of America#2UPDATE Employee
Wed, May 16, 2012
The complaintant of this post filed a complaint with the BBB and it has been successfully resolved.
This merchant elected to be promoted to Continuum Health Partners on 9/9/2011. Her first call to us was on 2/24/2012 complaining of "seeing no business". We offered to design a flyer for her, which we are not contractually obligated to do. She agreed, and approved the flyer on 2/27. It was sent to all of our registered users on 2/27 and a confirmation was sent to her to confirm on 2/28. We received another email from Heidi that she still had not seen anyone on 4/2/2012. We recommended for her to change her discount, that a one hour free consult is an industry standard and not really going to get the employees to call her. We also recommended to change her discount to 50% off instead of a $75 value. She agreed to that change and
the change was uploaded that day to the website. We also told her to follow up with us that we would be willing to resend the flyer for her which again we are not contractually obligated to do. The next correspondence we received from Heidi was on 4/20/2012 via a phone call with at that point she told our rep that we never called her back. Which was obviously not the case. She signed up to be be promoted to Continuum Health Partners through their PerksCard program. She paid to be promoted on the website, which she has been since inception. She paid to be promoted to Continuum in their initial newsletter that was distributed, which she was and also to be included in the quarterly newsletters. We went above and beyond with designing flyer and distributed solely for her. We offered to send it a second time which she did not request. We recommended a few changes to her discount and she only took the advice of one of the options. We can possibly offer her to be promoted to other NYC clients to increase her exposure but she has to make her discount more appealing. The discount is what generates hits to her website, calls to make appointments and overall new clients for her.
Also, after the additional steps we took to try to make this successful for her she blogged negativity on the internet about our company. Which can not be removed. We understand the frustration with paying for advertising and not getting the results she expected. That is why we took the additional steps for her and are still willing to go even further.
From the internet that we work with the client in question for years!
