A mailbox at a private store is called a "Private Mailbox", or PMB. By law, it cannot be referred to as a "PO Box" (only refers to boxes at a real Post Office), a "Suite", or an "Apartment". They must use either the pound sign (#) or PMB in front of the box number.
If they are referring to their PMB as a Suite, file a complaint with the local Postmaster or the Postal Inspector's office.
