PIOTR ZNANIECKI ,TRANSPORTER AUTO REPAIR Transpeter, Auto Repair, Warsztat Samochodowy, 965 Lincoln Hwy. Morrisville, PA 19067 Piotr Znaniecki talked me into buying him motorcycle using my credit saying that he would pay me back within five months. Well, it has never happened and the incident took place in 2006 Trenton, New Jersey
I met Piotr Znaniecki in 2005, when I needed to purchase a car. I do not know enough about the cars to feel comfortable buying one without an advise. Friend of mine said that she knows a mechanic who would probably gladly help me. Yes, he did gladly help me saying that we should buy a "after accident car" and he would fix it for me "for cheap". He brought me to a place in PA, I bought a truck that he advised me to, and he said he would fix it for $3.000.00
I agreed to it and asked if he was sure that it would not be more than that because that was all I could afford at that time. I gave Piotr the $3.000.00 cash, because he said that he would need the money at front to buy necessary parts. I was waiting five weeks for the truck to be ready, when Piotr told me that he made a mistake and he needs another $3.000.00 due to his miscalculations.. He said: "Look, I am so sorry but it is the first time I am doing it and I had no idea that it would cost so much more. I cannot finish your car unless I buy the rest of necessary parts, and I cannot do it unless you give me more money"
Well, I had no choice but to quickly borrow money from my family and give it to him. I needed a car to drive!!
Being stupid enough, I sort of believed him that he made a mistake with "his calculations" and got over the fact that it coasted me $3.000.00 more than I expected and was told.I actually blamed it on myself and the fact that I do not have any knowledge about the cars; if I did, it would not have happened.
MOTORCYCLE!!!!!!!
Piotr would call me from time to time, asking to help him with phone calls, bills, and so on because "his English is not good enough"- he would say. He always made himself sound like he is so helpless, life is being unfair to him and so on, and.. I felt sorry for him and went with him to DMV pertaining his driver's license.
On the way back, he asked me to stop at the EAST COST POWER SPORTS; KAWASAKI-SUZUKI-POLARIS because he wanted to look at the motorcycles. We stopped and he talked me into buying a brand new motorcycle- Suzuki Hayabusa. He told me that I should take a loan and buy it because it will be perfect for my credit, and I should not worry because he would pay me back over maximum period of five months. He said: "You know, I have money, you know that I buy and sell cars all the time, I just do not have this kind of money on hand today"
I do not know why I did it but I did. I took a credit for almost $13.000.00 and bought that motorcycle. He had it delivered to his shop in Morrisville next day. That was on June,14th of 2006. Piotr had paid the minimum payments of $200.00 a month for two months, until he called me on Friday morning, September the 1st of 2006 stating that the motorcycle was stolen. He said that he did not keep it in his garage that night, but he kept it on his yard on Pine Street in Trenton where he lived at the time.
He did not want to insure the motorcycle for theft after its purchase because "it was too expensive". This is how I got stuck paying for the motorcycle until this day so my credit does not go wrecked. I still have over the $10.000.00 to pay. Luckily, I finally graduated college and I hope to pay it off fast now and forget about this story.
After the motorcycle "was stolen", which I personally believe that it was sold for parts or something like that by Piotr himself, Piotr Znaniecki would avoid me, would not take my phone calls, and would keep promissing that he would pay the motorcycle off. Well, I was hardly able to receive the money from him for three more payments ($200.00 each). After that, it has been my responsibility.
I do not know where he is. He just dissapeared. I heard that he went to Chicago. I found out through a friend that he was on polish dating website called "Sympatia.pl".
One of the pictures that he had on there was him with MY MOTORCYCLE!!!
Oh well, it was so long ago that I sort of gave up on it and accepted it.. It is so frustrating though that people like this guy just get away without being punished!
