Platinum Warranty Scam - Rip-off - Cleveland Ohio
On October 21, 2003 a claim was approved for $2,020.03 and 7 months, 117 business days later I've yet to get the money. I had to pay the entire balance at the AutoShop or I wouldn't have been able to pick up my Auto. I've left numerous messages for the CEO(Anthony Hodel), Customer Service Manager(Eric Avendutti), Customer Service, sent emails and faxed letters and nothing has happened.
I'm now out of pocket the $2,020.03 for the cost of the repairs and $1,700 for the Warrenty. I believe with the number of complaints at the BBB web site the $1,700 was a total waste. Even if they ever approved another claim, I don't think it would ever get paid.
