Polaris Inc.-NYC/Design Accents/Combined Insurence National Income Insurence Scam email about job offers to recent college grads. College Grads, Beware! New York, New York
As a recent college grad, fresh out of college and looking for a job, thinking that I will get of many offers, so many interviews, and so many email from companies who wants me. Well, forget that! So much for that dream. Now I am detete email and phone messages faster than doing a late term paper.
Like so many people and especially college grads, I posted my resume and standard cover letter on different job websites, thinking that I will be contacted. This advise was given to me at my college and by my family. But no one knew or told me about what was going to happen next. From yahoo hot jobs site and career builder site (these two are the worst), there are MANY companies and businesses, like the ones that I have listed above that are out to get young college grads and others. There ran scams and want you to become sales people, to either selling fake insurance to poor people or small businesses OR to sell some stupid product(s) to small businesses. This I found by using my sixth sense and doing a google search on these companies. National Income Insurance and Polaris Inc. NYC keep emailing me and calling me at home for interviews, they are aggressive. (This is the kind of s**t that they don't teach us in college and advice us on, given how important it is).
BE A AWARE of their email telling how you how nice it will be to have you, how great the work environment is, and wonderful the pay is. Do not fall for the money and please don't go for an interview as they may try to trap you. A real company/business will not tell you all those things in an email. They will be very stright forward about what they want.
Finding a job takes time. For every job offer email or phone call, PLEASE do a background search on the company/business on google.com before you reply via phone or email. There should be drop down box on google search box as you start typing; that is very helpful.

I think this person is to young and naive to know anything about the job market and what they're in for. The problem with new grads is they all thing they are worth more than they are and arn't willing to put the work in that they need to get where they want to be.
Honestly a college degree means nothing these days, grow up and get ready to do real work; even if that means sales.
