Pool Essentials Shock Bleached my liner! Buford Georgia
My husband and I decided to get a pool this year in May. We decided to save money and put it up ouselves. We worked so hard to get this pool for our family and was so excited to finally enjoy it. Then we bought Pool Essentials shock due to our water starting to turn green. I watched videos and read about how to put it in. So I used a bucket, poured water in it, then the shock. No big deal right? Well I stirred it hoping for it to dissolve like others said it would but it would just go to the bottom. So I just poured it into our pool hoping it would be okay. The next morning I seen that our pool was blue again which made me very excited until I walked up to it and seen that my liner was WHITE in spots! I'm so upset about it. We spend well over $1,000 for this pool! I can't just fork out another $1,000! My daughter will be devastated cause now our pool probably won't last long!! Why can't people make stuff that actually works and doesn't ruin people things! I will for now on get the best of the best cause I can't keep buying a liner due to this!!! So please if your reading this don't buy Pool Essentials! It will ruin your pool!! No I'm not a hater either I don't normally complain about things but when I know that my daughter will eventually get upset due to not having a pool anymore I will be upset as well.
