I tried to cancel a scheduled appointment with Portrait USA, LLC in advance of my appointment date and time. Multiple attempts to cancel and obtain my $10 refund via phone calls were ignored. I left messages and even sent text messages in response to texts that I received from the company to remind me of my appointment.

After speaking with the photographer's assistant a few hours before my scheduled appointment, I was directed to send the receipt I received when I paid the deposit with my address in order to receive a refund. I followed the directives and sent the documents via the United States Postal Service signature confirmation option. My letter was returned today by the USPS, stating that multiple attempts to deliver were unsuccessful. The "addressee" did not claim the parcel.

I called a local number listed for this company in Canton, Georgia and spoke with an employee named Liz. She was extremely rude and told me that her boss, the owner, did not check the post office box in about "3 weeks" and I had to resend the documents. This was my second time speaking with her and she promised to call me back with an update twice, but never did.

I've been getting the run around from this company. The manager at my local Kroger grocery store in Douglasville, Georgia (Highway 5 location) has not done anything to assist me. He said Portraits USA, LLC were told that they were not affiliates of Kroger; they were using the space only.

It is not a lot of money that was lost. It is the principle. that matters.
