Prestige Loan Company is a FRAUD and won't deliver Detroit Michigan
I recently got a phone call from the Prestige Loan Company telling me that I had been approved for a $5000.00 loan. Considering the financial struggle I was in, I thought, wow what a break through! I finally got approved for a loan and can dig myself out of this hole. Then they told me that they needed me to send them a security deposit. This raised my red flag. But I told them that I would talk to my boyfriend and see what he thought.
We both decided, ok, we can swing the deposit, which was 3 months of my loan payment totaling $685.29. We took both of our entire paychecks that week and sunk it into this deposit. We got the contract, signed it, faxed it back and voila, we were told that we would have our money direct deposited into my account within 24-48 hours.
Needless to say, this didn't happen. So I called, and called, and called, and got no response from my so called loan advisor (David Thorne). The last time I called, I got a hold of Jonathon Grier who proceeded to tell me that I needed to put more money down to get the loan. YA RIGHT! I don't think so! I have a legal binding contract stating that I am guaranteed this loan. He then told me that he would refund me the deposit, which would be mailed in 15 days!
HA! He must have something wrong with his head! I demanded my refund by western union and he refused. I then told him that he would be hearing from my lawyer, which I fully intend on obtaining, which I got the reply "You're just trying to be vindicitive!You will wake up tomorrow and see how rash you're being. You're just upset and I understand." HAHA! Don't you love it when they tell you they understand. I didn't send anymore money to them!
Overall, I have sought an attorney and am presently seeking legal advice and will soon be taking legal action against this company for : 1. False Advertisement 2. Breach of contract and anything else that me and my lawyer can conjure up. This is NOT a legitimate loan company. Through further research, they are a loan broker. They don't tell you that you might not get a loan or that you would have to put more money down. DON'T BE FOOLED into this company! Trust me, you're financial situation isn't bad enough to pay money to get money!

I am adding this as an update. In my investigation, this company is not located in Detroit, MI as it states. But rather, it is located in S. Central Ontario. If you have been a victim of this company, please contact your Attorney General's office. They will be able to provide you with information on how to stop this company from scamming people.
