Bought a 2000 Jaguar XKR from Dynamic Auto Group aka Prime Auto Direct, Houston Texas on 14 February 2017. Salesperson was Zack Iqbal. Found car on EBAY. Car was promptly delivered to Indiana in good shape with only problems discussed and accepted. No problem with car itself. The transport driver did not have the title. Car was represented as having a clear title and car fax also shows no title discrepancies with its VIN. Have called at least 15 times to get title. Rarely get through - have to leave a voice mail which is never returned. Use a friend's phone with a different area code to call them. They will answer that call thinking they have a new victim on the line, otherwise you get the answering machine. When you run out of friends with different area codes, thats a problem. When you do get through, its the same lie - the auction company screwed up the title, it will be in the mail Monday, we will call you tomorrow, etc. etc. The one thing so far is NO TITLE even though the car is fully paid for. I have read they do this to many other buyers and I saw one report claiming extortion of more money to get a title. I do not see how the State of Texas or their DMV can let these people stay in business. BBB has them rated "F" for this same stuff and even more. If you are an out-of-state buyer you will be better served to buy somewhere else. I am thinking now that a lawsuit is the only way to get a title out of them. There is no reason for any rational business person to act this way unless their floorplan financing is holding the title in which case that should have been disclosed. All I want from them is the title- however, learn from this, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!

Update of No Title Complaint

On 12 April 2017 (today) I received a negotiable Texas title and updated bill of sale to avoid penalty Indiana fines for late registration, all of which an Indiana BMV branch accepted for transfer of title. Zack did call back after the posting herein and was appologetic saying he had some personal issues that got in the way of getting me the title. He was truthful about the condition of the vehicle and very prompt about getting it shipped to Indiana. This transaction is now complete, although I wish it had been completed some time ago, and I am happy with the car and drove it around most of today (since it is now legal to drive in Indiana). Buying a car on the internet is a crapshoot, but based on my experiences, Zack will tell you the truth about the vehicle condition if you specifically ask, and he was great at getting it shipped. Just make it a condition of sale that the title goes with the driver of the transport truck and that may avoid problems
