I received a phone call around 5:15pm PST. The first words were, "Daniel, your Mastercard has been approved. The guy on the phone was named Moss. He explained that the one time membership fee was $187 and that I would receive my Prime One card once they received the $187.

He had me convince and said that someone would call in 30 minutes to verify my information. He gave me the phone number 416-542-1611 and said that I could call anytime Monday thru Friday between 7am and 5pm EST. Just as he was about to hang up he asked for my bank account number. At that point, I was gullable enough and gave it to him.

During the 30 minute wait, I jumped on the Internet and looked up Prime One Financial. Thank goodness for this site becuase I found it right away using google.com.

When the second call came in, I was ready. I asked for their phone number and the operator told me that he only had outbound phone lines. Then I asked where he was calling from. He said his company name was Veritech Communications Company in Toronto Canada. I then told him that I was not comfortable with his offer and he cancelled my order.

I'm now going to wait to see if they deduct anything from my bank account. I'll take the chance simply because my bank will be able to trace any transaction back to their bank and I'll be able to prove fraud.

I also did a whois lookup search at www.networksolutions.com on www.primeonebenefits.com This is what came up;

If you notice the phone number above, it's almost the same as Prime One's number. Prime One's number ends in 1611. My guess is that Paul Price is the brains behind Prime One.

I'm just an Insurance guy with 25 years of computer experience. If anybody wants to join up and take these guys down, I'm game.

I just cancelled a credit card I signed up for with prime one financial. I cancelled it the same day that they called me and I applied for it. The lady told me no money would be withdrawn from my account. However, yesterday, 217.95 was taken out of my account. I called and they told me to fax something showing that the money was taken out. I did that and this morning Dorothy, one of the managers, said she would inquire into it and call me back. I haven't received anything in the mail from them either. Reading these responses is making me very worried that I won't receive my money. This is an outrage. Something must be done in order to stop people like this.

Last August, 2003 I started paying of my bills and have been working towards repairing my credit. In doing so I sought after a credit card company that would offer me a card knowing I do not have the best credit. When I found Prime One Benefits I was deceived to belive that when I allowed this company to deduct 187.00 from my checking account, they would send me a credit card. Instead I received a worthless package full of proposterous offers, discounts and "free" stuff, junk more like it. I immediatley called Prime One asking them how I would go about getting a refund. I followed their directions and sent the package back and never received a refund. My first few calls were to get them to admit they received the package and since I sent the package with postal tracking so that they would have had to sign for it, I knew they were lying. Eventually they claimed they had received it in another office on October 10, 2003. Since then, I have over 20 phone convesations logged with their company asking for my refund. Some days I'm told I've called too late in the day, that the refund department only works on Fridays, that I'm scheduled to get my refund on a specific date and I never do. I have been requesting a refund from this compay for 8 months. They have verbally acknowledged that they are going to pay me and that I did return all materials unused. This company has ripped me off, has provided no service to me whatsoever and I WANT MY MONEY!! The question I ask everyone of their epmloyees afer they continuously lie to me is "How do you live with yourself knowing that you work for a company that rips people off? How do you go home at night and sleep knowing that you are a fraud?" Please, if anyone can help, please post some info below so everyone can benefit..
