I have to agree with the first concerned parent's written advice to the new gym, Pro-Elite Allstars in Keller, Texas.  My athlete was, also, discouraged and misled during Adam's coaching of their Allstar Program.  Adam talks a BIG Game; however, he is not able to produce...he is very misleading with his promises, i.e., stating they are having a Level 5 this coming year to get athletes to come to his gym (knowing that he does not have enough Level 5 athletes.  You have to give these athletes encouragement and direction to be the best that they can be.... these athletes did not receive either!  In the other concerned parent's comments, it was mentioned that he didn't come to competition/practices and the athletes were not informed of why he wasn't there to coach them is exactly the truth.  These athletes deserved to be told where their coach is and for sure if he is missing at a competition - you know they are going to wonder where their coach is??? I would encourage all of you parents to do your homework and research before joing a brand new gym in order to learn about the owner/coaches and what their expectations are and what the fees will pay for and involve.  You might tryout thinking you are going to be on a certain level team; however, you might be sadly disappointed when you are not placed on that team!  Move with caution into this new Pro-Elite Allstar Gym....you don't want to make the wrong decision and have a very disappointed athlete.

First off I would like to state that during the final season of Crusaders Adam was the one person that kept that program even going. Mike Martinez was always well aware of where Adam was because even my daughter new where he was when he wasn't able to make practices or competitions. He cheered for Level 6 Champion Phoenix and sometimes would coach the teams by himself before he would have to head off to long practices all the while Mike was sitting on facebook in his office.  Adam was a great motivator for everyone on those teams. He definitely gave my daughter the confidence she needed to compete.  I saw Adam numerous times encouraging the athletes on the teams at practices. He even played a Frozen song during one of the practices just to lighten the mood and then proceeded to be uplifting to the team he was coaching at the time. Let me state that the two competitions that he missed were justified. One he had a severe stomach virus and I was one of the parents that witnessed him running back and forth to the bathroom vomiting. That morning Brandon one of the other coaches had to drive Adam to the competition because he was to ill, but he wanted to try to be there for his athletes. He notified a few of us parents and notified Coach Brandon and Mike. Mike then proceeded to tell the athletes that he didn't know where their coach was. This was clearly a lie. One of many that Mike has told to people over the years.

The second competition he missed Mike was notified well in advance that Adam had a mandatory practice to prepare to leave for Worlds. Coach Brandon was even aware of the situation and Mike still told the kids that Adam was just missing. This was a childish act that Mike played and it was unfair to the kids and unfair to Adam. If Mike would have not cancelled the competitions that were originally scheduled for the teams for no other reason than he didn't have the funds, because of poor money management. Adam would have been just fine while preparing for Worlds. This statement couldn't be farther from the truth and it must take a really small person to write something like this about such a great person and amazing coach.  I can only imagine what will greatness will come from Adam and his partner in Pro Elite coming together, because Dustin was an amazing coach at Dynasty in Denton,TX. You should really be ashamed of yourself. Your statements carry no weight because Pro Elite All Stars has zero relation to Crusaders besides the fact that they operate out of the same gym.

As of lately Pro Elite seems to be doing pretty well for themselves and according to athletes in the program at Pro Elite they do have enough athletes to have a Restricted Level 5 and they also have 8 boys on one of the teams. I would say that's not to bad for being a first year program. That to me is a direct reflection of the great coaching and instruction that is taking place in that program. I know several parents that tried out at Pro Elite are very happy with the results already and Adam has done a great job carrying through with promises that he has made. They have practice clothes, something we had paid for and never received.  I truly pitty you and all that you must stand for which doesn't seem to be much apparently.  To anyone out there looking at Pro Elite as a program of interest check them out especially if you are interested in a coed program. Pro Elite is definitely an up and coming program with a lot of potential. Best of luck to Adam and Dustin and all their athletes over at Pro Elite you all will do amazing!
