pronios food service sam pronios DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE RIP-OFF ARTISTS!!! Internet
Please do not use this companies service. I emailed them about a advertisement that i received through Local Pittsburgh. com. The ad. stated filet mignon as well as other meats "as low as $2.29 lb" When I emailed them, Sam Pronios email me back and claimed that I would need to purchase 300 pounds of filet mignon to get that price. This was no problem since i was planning a large surprise party for my wife with 100+ guests.
After many emails back and forth between Sam and John Pronios it turns out that they refused to do business with me unless they could come to my home. (even after I offered to prepay with my credit card). This was imposable because it would have ruined the surprise party for my wife. I ended up doing as planned and buying the filet at sams club for $10.88 lb. (much better price than they can offer)
This is obviously a bait and switch tactic and a way to get in your door to sell you meat and other food at a very high profit margin. I have already reported them and Local Pittsburgh. com to the Pa. Attorney Generals Office, the BBB, Angies List, as well as many other organizations. My full intention is to end this type of business practice. I have the time and resourses and will stop at nothing to do so.
