Providian ripoff- late fee scam --among other scams they pull Tilton NH
In addition to canceling a card for a perfectly paying customer, and me canceling another for their "interest rate adjustment" to an amount over my states Usery Limit, they have now sunk to a new low. My balance has been paid off for a period of months now.
I just recently noticed on their website that an amount of .01 is posted to my account. No one seems to be able to either explain or remove it. Late fees will be assessed on not making a payment of .01 and interest rates will go up to the default rate for late payment,,,,, BEWARE,,,,My accounts are requested cancelled with them as of this day,,,,, They as a company are predators and will use every bit of fine print on notices they send to screw you out of your money.
