"Psychic Valera Jones" preys upon and takes advantage of the most vulnerable individuals. Following the initial free phone call, "she" harrassed via phone calls in the middle of the night. Once aware of the state of mind of the person she was talking to, she proceeded to talk about how the caller (my family member) was surrounded by evil and she could take it away for $600. This intensified after my family member disclosed a diagnosed mental illness, even telling her not to take her medications. She stayed on the phone for the entire drive to WalMart, where she talked her through making a MoneyGram wire to "Patty Super." The wire sent the money to Seattle Washington. At one point the "psychic" said her name was Brandy Parker; additional numbers calls were received from included 206-730-1226 and 1800-926-9400. This individual or group of individuals is an example of true evil at work- it is scary that there are people like this in the world preying on those who cannot protect themselves and that the laws do not recognize this. Be aware of this fraud and watch out for your family members who cannot look out for themselves.
