Public Storage Stay away from Public Storage - they raise the rent and charge a late over and over Ramsey, Minnesota
Public Storage will unilaterally raise your rent and charge you a late fee of $26 for an $8 late charge and continue to charge a late fee on the late fee. The will also represent insurance as 'required by law'. This is the amount of the late charge. They continue to charge a late fee for each month even with an $8 late amt. Of course this is the 'fraudulent' representation of the 'required by law' insurance. I settled with the insurance amt in order that I did not have to deal with them and they continue to charge the late and would not negotiate a resolution. THUS, approximately $30 in late fees(and this is totally done by the insurance amount) has increased to $190 in the meantime.
You do not want to deal with Public Storage. They will threaten and intimidate. Customer service will not do a thing. If you foolish enough about using this company, don't bother with anyone but the top level managers.
I causally mentioned that I had a Public storage locker to others and they all gasped. This is a very disreputable and dishonest(the upselling of 'required insurance') company. I will never go near them again and will discourage all others.
