Public people finder.com poses as an online people search/people finder/ background check company.
Once I made my selection on one of the different search options offered, I paid by credit card , received an e-mail that I would be receiving the results shortly. That was the last I ever heard from them.
All attempts to contact them, by various e-mails to their support and help desk e-mails bounced back. The phone numbers do not work. My credit card was charged the same day. That was 3 weeks ago.
I became suspicious and searched the internet, just to find out that they are a scam and fraudulent company.

The exact same thing happened to me and 4 weeks later my credit card is still charged $59.00 for nothing. I received an email "we are researching your request and it will take some time" 4 weeks ago. How hard is it to look up public information? Since then I received the information from my insurance company. AVOID this place. They do not answer emails and their phone are disconnected. I do not understand why they are even allowed to have a merchant credit card account when it is very obvious they are bogus and crooked scam artists.
