I use to work for QVC. I worked there for over a year and quit because the customers drove me crazy. QVC always puts the customer 1st. I didn't always agree with it because sometimes we could tell the customer was lieing. I got tired of it because I knew that if I owned the company and was listening to half the stories some people told I wouldn't refund them anything. I got customers that would tell us two differant stories. The same customers would always call and come up with there bogus excuses. It got to the point that I would interregate them about it just so I could catch them in the lie and make them feel like crooks (which they are). At QVC you actually can return anything at anytime even after 30 days if you say it was a gift and make up a later date. However, QVC also had a fraud dept. if you return way to many items eventually you'll get flagged and the fact that her son screwed them over made her more suspiciose then she already seemed.QVC looses so much money because of scammers. As employees we had the ability to stop certain people from shopping with us. There are so many weirdos out there. We had people call and order 1 everything. They would actualy say let me have one of everything and would put it on check hold(meaning you will pay with a check)and then never send it. That costs QVC thousands of dollars per customer that does this. Its those people that we request for their phone number to be blocked.
