I am someone that has been following the disasterous career of Yizhak Miller. (If you can call it a career). He held a job for a short period of time, and then physically attacked an upstanding member of the community in public with his car. There were other incidences of rage and innappropriate behavior where he embarassed the entire Jewish community. there were also threats against people expressing our constitutional right and brotherly mitzvah to warn others of this danger. I would refrain from warning others if there was reason to believe that he had a good character. It happens that I know Yitzhak Miller enough to tell you that any path that he has followed in his professional life has always ended the same way- with problems, dissapointment, and anger on his part. If you are considering getting married, having a bar mitzvah, or converting to Judaism, I would strongly recommend that you find another Rabbi or a Rabbi with a real synagogue. Rabbis who have a true calling to this career add holiness and legitimacy to your event rather than someone with so much baggage, no career, and terrible hygiene. I know that the Reform Movement has approached him regarding his website because there is a general feeling that he is a "time-bomb waiting to explode". There are many others who agree that his actions are not becoming of a rabbi. Yizhak Miller continues to spend a lot of money trying to keep this information from spreading. Hopefully we can together save lives, and allow the Jewish community to thrive with capable leaders

Look at all the posts this person has made on ComplaintsBoard.com and RipoffReport.com and ask yourself whether these posts seem like someone "working in the best interests of humanity", or someone who has chosen to use the powerful tool we have in the internet in a way that does disservice to all of us by making legitimate critiques and complaints difficult to find. Check RabbiYitzhakMiller.org for all the testimonials from members of the Riverside Congregation and ask yourself whether Sidney Cohen actually speaks for the community. Ask yourself whether all these people would say what they did if Sidney's comments are actually true. Were things a "perfect match" between me and Riverside Temple Beth El? Far from it. Am I perfect? Far from it. Perfection is not the goal. Acknowledgement of our past failings, making amends for those if they have harmed someone, and serious continuous self-improvement is what Judaism and basic human decency expect of us. Neither I nor Judaism expect a person to be perfect. I stand solidly, though, on my record of continuous self-improvement and improvement of the world around me. Look at CyberJudaism.org and see what it means to be committed to working in the best interests of humanity and the Jewish community. Ask yourself: "who in this discussion is working to always be a better and better person? Who in this discussion is spending their time being a positive force in the world?" If you're wondering whether Sidney Cohen's comments are credible, Call Riverside Temple Beth El at 951-684-4511 and ask any of the staff or clergy there what kind of person Sidney Cohen, how he has behaved over the years towards congregants, board members, and clergy. Ask them whether his messages and motives are well-intended. Or, better yet, call or email him yourself and assess what kind of person he is. B'shalom, Rabbi Yitzi Miller

I want to thank Yitzhak Miller for making available the information that proves the point I am trying to make. He is really scary. He is unhirable. One should wonder which kind of lousy rabbi Yitzhak miller is that even after we are able to get rid of him, many of us still feel he is a threat to the community. From his own police report you can read that he drove his car on top of a gentile gentleman, who for some reason did not proceed with criminal charges. Perhaps the victim felt, as the rest of us do, that Yizhak's career was over. And this was punishment enough. From the experience that our congregation had, most people were very happy to see him go. There is a consensus that he is not cut for the rabbinate, and beleive me, I am not talking about his s****..

Here are direct links to information to help you decide who here is being forthright: A link to a letter from the alleged victim calling the whole thing "an unfortunate incident" http://www.rabbiyitzhakmiller.org/images/letter-from-the-alleged-victim.pdf A link to the police report making it clear that we're not talking about anything even resembling "vehicular manslaughter": http://www.rabbiyitzhakmiller.org/images/police-report.pdf A link to the Court minutes dismissing the charges at the Court's 1st opportunity and at the alleged victim's request: http://www.rabbiyitzhakmiller.org/images/court-minutes.pdf

Sidney, I hope you are able to find peace and contentment in your life. Others who are reading this and wish to decide the facts for themselves are encouraged to examine the facts and decide for yourself. http://www.rabbiyitzhakmiller.org/About/Press-Enterprise-Coverage_52.html There you can find not only the facts, but the police report about the referenced incident and courtroom minutes where the entire matter was summarily dismissed. (Note that even the facts of the charges Sidney Cohen states in the title of his article are false). I believe it will be clear to anyone reading the information that the work I am doing via www.RabbiYitzhakMiller.org is breaking new ground in using 21st-century technology to provide direct Rabbinic services to people as far away as Beijing, Baghdad, and Rio de Janeiro, as well as many people throughout the US who are not able to access "traditional" synagogues. But you don't have to take my word for that, either. See the following article from the Jewish Outreach Institute for more information: http://joi.org/blog/?p=1673

Unemployable "Rabbi" Yitzhak Miller Self Righteous Moron His comments are nothing less than another threat from a deranged man who is trying to hide his past. His actions and his flawed character can never be hidden. He has hired a company to try to hide this information that I am re-exposing to the general public. Miller's attempt to threaten me that I am commiting libel by sharing a still published fact in the media shows his rage still intact. What will be next? Will I be grazed by his truck, or will he chase me down with a bag of powdered sugar and try to eat me

Dear Sidney, It saddens me greatly to see the action that you have taken on 3/29/09 AND on 4/4/09. I know that most of us have worked hard to move forward with our lives since the unfortunate events of nearly 2 years ago. I have always acknowledged the truth of what I have done wrong, I apologized properly at the time to those I had wronged, and I am proud of my work to improve those flaws that I, like any human, possess. Your posting to Ripoff Report primarily saddens me because it clearly demonstrates a refusal to acknowledge and accept the humanity and divinity of each person. Instead, it demonstrates a sad desire to go out of your way to be hurtful. I accept you in your humanity, and hope that you, too, will demonstrate that you are working to improve your flaws by taking action to right the wrongs you have committed on 3/29/09 and 4/4/09. Your posting to Ripoff Report contains significant, libelous, and false statements. I am hopeful that you will exercise the UPDATE option available to you on Ripoff Report to correct your inaccurate statements. When you submitted your posting to Ripoff Report, you signed the following: 'By posting this report/rebuttal, I attest this report is valid. I am giving Ripoff Report irrevocable rights to post it on this web site. I acknowledge that once I post my report, it will not be removed, even at my request. Of course, I can always update my report to reflect new developments by clicking on UPDATE.' Sidney, I invite you to log back into Ripoff Report, file an update acknowledging the truth so that we can close the book on this chapter.
