Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

The company advertised a free trial skin product - for only $4.95 shipping. I looked at the advertising carefully to make sure they would not charge any additional costs - and did not see any other terms. I decided to try the product for $4.95 - not thinking I would have to buy anything else or be charged anything else unless I reordered I never received an email of confirmation so I thought the order did not go through. I finally received the products - there were no invoice or any documents in the box - no other terms or conditions were given. Again, I thought that I would not be charged unless I reordered.

To my shock and surprise, I found that the company charged me $89 twice. I called to complain that they charged my credit card without authorization. They said that the terms and conditions were that I had two weeks for the trial and that they would charge me the full price thereafter. I said they never sent me the terms and conditions and I never saw that agreement when I ordered the free trial. They said it was on their website- I further argued that they never sent an email either to confirm the order and agreement and it should have been in a packing slip with the terms and conditions. They said an email confirmation was sent and it might have been in the spam - I checked all my email boxes and it was never sent. They lied about that.

The company is operating a scam - and is fraudulently misleading people to buy under the guise of a "free trial". They fail to provide you with the term and conditions that they will charge you full price , they fail to send you a confirmation with the terms and conditions and they failed to give you any information or packing slip when they send the product to you. I will be filing complaints with local, state and federal agencies - consumers should be protected from these type of companies who are intentionally using deceptive and fraud advertising- and from reading others' complaints- they are continuously cheating the consumers.
