Here is a cut from the Better Business Bureaus web site and specifically from the Ramada Plaza. According to Florida's Sellers of Travel Act, you may cancel the contract without any penalty or obligation within 30 days from the date you give or sent a signed contract and payment to the seller/promoter, unless you are given a guaranteed travel date. If you decide to cancel, you must notify the seller/promoter in writing of your intent to cancel by returning the certifi- cate and sending notice to seller at their address. To verify that the company is registered contact the Florida Division of Agriculture & Consumer Services at: 1-850-922-2832. Remember even if the company is registered with the State, this does not in itself afford you the assurance of legitimacy.

Yazmin, it's ok, talk to the bank, stop your credit card, so they can't keep charging it, and just say you lost it, but be polite, and threaten a lawsuit if you have to. Also, mention this website ripoffreport.com or even go google and type in ramada plaza resorts, and there is a LIST of sites against them. send a letter to the owner if you have to, and threaten the District Attourney if you have to! even contact the D.A. if you have to. No one deserves to be scammed this way, ESPECIALLY in your situation.
