Ramada Plaza Resorts, Ramada Hotels, Fort Lauderdale Vacations ripoff told us things that weren't true made it sound so good gave misinformation one big waste of time and runaround Orlando, Fort Lauderdale Florida
This vacation was the worst I've ever taken. It all started with the rental car that was arranged to be picked up in Jacksonville. There was no car rental place there so that wasted an hour of our time dealing with that not to mention money on calling.
In Orlando, when we finally arrived after being sent on a wild goose chase because of wrong directions, our room smelled like cat piss. I went to the front desk and asked for a new room which they gave me but 15 min. later other people were placed in that same room when i had just told them of the smell. How disgusting, you could smell it in the hall.
I was lead to believe that when i upgraded i would recieve a Pontiac Grand Am but got a Mitshubishi Lancer which is definitly not the equivalent of a Grand Am and it's also a piece of junk.
Also I was lead to think that there would be two bedrooms and there was only one, what a lovely way to spend a vacation, with two couples sharing one room.
Ft. Lauderdale was a complete dive, the hotel was disgusting and after i paid the upgrade i was still on the other side of the road from the beach and our door was so hard to open i bruised my hand from fighting with it.
The cruse was a joke, you had to prepay with a credit card and got charged an arm and a leg for all kinds of hidden charges.
I had called to make sure i wouldn't run into these kinds of things but did anyway.
The tour was ridiculous. It lasted well over 90 min., 90 min. over the first 90 plus driving time, so half the day was wasted there, and as if they would actually let you leave because you had to get things signed in order to get you deposit ($40) back.

We had a great time........we didn't expect first class for such a great price...our resort was older but very clean and very friendlly..... two pools ..........two bars....... When the world sholudn't expect white gold when they paid for silver....... If you want first class all the way honey pay for it......it won't be for what we paid.... meet two couples at the motel who had just returned from the cruise..had the time of their life ........ready to go again Had a lady bitching because the motel didn't look like the picture .gee it was pink not white .....they were painting.....the fountain wasn't on .......didn't bother my sleep or evening because I was inside
