Most of the reports claimed on this webpage happened to me with the Ramada Plaza Resorts. They seem to do this type of thing every time. Why haven't thet gotten sued? Why is this the only place that they mention this?

Behind the door in the hotel i was staying at in Ft Lauderdale it said the room was $200 a night that is $200 the sheets were stained the water was coming out yellow the bathroom had mold in the grout and the wall paper was falling off.

When we went to the breakfast bar in which the meal at the hotel was not complimetary had nats in it. and cost me and my husband $14. When we first checked in at the Hotel they told us that they didn't have a Room available and i had to wait until people checked out until i was able to get in my room and that was at 8am. I came back at 11 am still no room available and then i came back at 2pm they had a room however i had to pay tax on the room in which for 3 days was $36. We questioned because when the packacage was transfered to mine and my husbands name i had to pay over $500 in which i was told was for the taxes on my vacation.

Glad there was an Ekard around the corner because after i saw the room we bought Lysol Desinfectant spray to spray the whole room down. Like this was our first vacation and vacation packet we assumed that the reason why it was so cheap was because the cheaped us out on the room and the cruise would be good especially when through all my phone conversations this was supposed to be a carnival cruise and i was upgraded to stay in the cruise instead of staying in a hotel in the bahamas.

I was wrong my room was at the bottom of the boat i should of stayed with the crew i would have had better admemeties. the room was tiny did not look nothing like the webpage had described. the Sheets were stained we actually grabed the towels and slept ontop of those because the staines on the sheets grossed us out so much the room also smelt like pee.

the food on the boat was gross old and tasted funny. whenever they had food in between meals it would be extreamly spicy and then if a waiter saw you were eating it you would have like 5 come up to you to try to sell you a drink. The people who i was sitting with in my table said they had spent over $2000 with plane tickets.

Fortunately I live in the central florida area and i did not continue my vacation with them at the Orlando hotel and went home instead.

Thinking that is was just me and my expectations were to high I left the situation alone until a friend of mine that a few weeks later had bought the package and told me he was going on in in which i told that this was a complete rip off went on it and another lady that went on it said she loved it so still thinking that it was me, my friend came up to me told me that everything was discusting and a rip off as well told me about this webpage and I am here now.

However i would like to find more webpages that give this type of information or the News should do a cover story on these types of ripoff they must have been doing this for years how can so many people get ripped off and nothing has been done about it? It comes to a time where getting your money back just isn't enough. I thought this was a vacation I took a week off of Work I paid a substatial amount of money with the $689 depost $150 to exend the period of time for it to be held a year and another $600 on "taxes" not including the $36 of taxes that had to be paid at the hotel that wasn't included with the vacation packet that i had paid for. I had to pay for food, drinks, lysol, excurions that the cruise had.

It was my time and my vacation that was ruined now i have to wait another year before i even have the time off to take another vacation not including the money i need to save up. I'm tired I wanted to get away of the hassles of my everyday life in which werent achived because some a$$ bucket prefered stealing my money without compasion in his heart. One thing i will try now is to atleast get my money back where i can invest on a real vacation. Please reply through the rebuttal key.

Jennisse, You can make them refund some or even all of your money. My name is Elena, I wrote a report on 08/21/04. Please, read it and consider doing what I did. Also, read every other report on this site. There is a report from a person, whose situation seemed identical to yours. He took a vacation and got a full refund by filing the complaint with every consumer agency. He also faxed a letter directly to Dan Lambert, the owner of RPR. You have to fight back for what you feel is right.

You are an idiot with unrealistic expectations. You seem like a compulsive "complainer" to me. Doubt anything would have been good enough for you. I have been on this trip you mentioned and the hotel is pefectly FINE - I actually had such a good time in Orlando that I moved here! Stop complaining your way through life. Respectfully,
