I personally met Gayle on Sept 30th 2006. She is living in Church Hill Rd Virginia in DinWitty County. After reading all the reports about her taking people for their money, I think she deserves to get caught. Her name is not Barnes anylonger. He is not a partner in this. Just recently found out and devistated.

Susan, Here are the FACTS. You are correct in saying that I didn't pay Gayle directly for training at her academy ( the one she was at for 8 weeks tops). That is because the mats you mentioned I paid for myself and gave them to Gayle in return for training at her place. I paid $500.00 for the mats. I am not sure I received $500.00 worth of training at her academy in return. Yes she gave them to Jason, but why would I want them back. What am I going to do with them. I bought them for her academy that she decided to close after realizing she was in over head. So because she decided to close her place and I didn't receive $500.00 worth of training in return I am to blame here. You have got to be kidding me. As for the so called jutes you mentioned, I have never taken a jute or anything else from Gayle. Gayle owes me for clothing she bought for her place to sell and make money. That is what I do for a living. I have the email she sent to me telling me that she has not sent the check because she didn't have my address. I sent her my address two times and still have no check. So don't give me this crap about how I should have to pay for them because I trained at her place. She knew the deal when I gave her the mats. I never mentioned the mats in my response to this so it is quite obviuos you are in contact with Gayle and she is putting her two cents in through you instead of answering the questions herself. I never said Gayle didn't belong to any clubs like DVG, USA or any others. Not sure where that came from. Any human being with money and a german shepherd can belong to those clubs. It's not a certification it is a club! That doesn't make you an honest and quality breeder/trainer. All I can say about Karola is what the person she dropped her off to has told me and what I saw. She did not look like she was normal weight. Someone might want to inform Don that he was choosen as pet home for her dog. I am not sure he knows that. He was told Gayle would be back in a few days to get the dog. She must have forgot to go get her. As for Ralph and the pink slips. You are correct, Gayle gave me the email address and I got my pink slips by talking to Ralph. I didn't know that was my job when I bought a $2500.00 dog. I was working with Gayle on the matter because I wanted my pink slips. Yes Gayle said she would get Kuno a BH with Ponni. But then Ponni all of a sudden wasn't showing up to training. Kind of hard to train with a trainer that is not there! Yes Jason started training my dog at the academy on a deal between Gayle and I. The deal was I would by the mats for the academy. You make it sound like she let me use her academy for nothing. And as for her not seeing me back for training after the cgc and tt test, what are you talking about? I did those tests with my other shepherd. I trained with Gayle and Kuno quite a bit after I put Payton through the tests. I have trained with other people after Gayle closed her place. Am I supposed to not train because Gayle is off trying to figure out how to run a business? I will make you a deal. Since I have spent a small fortune with Gayle over the years, oh wait, since I have received free training and never paid Gayle or helped her out with anything, I will send her a new computer if she would agree to answer some questions. Let me know if that will work. Then she can get back to her normal business practices and try to explain to all these people why they are wrong and she has never done a thing wrong. Also, to tell other people they don't have anything to do and they don't work hard because they are writing bad things about Gayle on this is stupid. There are obviously people who have had some serious issues with Gayle, so we should all just deal with it and let her be. WHATEVER! I have no beef with you Susan, so if Gayle wants that computer or if she wants to call me and discuss this, she has my number.

Michael, Yes myself and many many others have had an excellent expeirience in dealing with Gayle. As for your question as to why her computer is still down, it is because her computer is down due to one of those viruses that really screw up your computer. Due to her not having insurance she pays her own medical bills as well as her own meds. Also she has has been building up her kennels. Since she moved she has to build them from the beginning this is is not cheap. Also breeding dogs is not the lucrative buisness you make it out to be. A breeder spends much of the money made back on her breeding. There are vet bills, vacinations, food, traiining equipment,toys, beds, whelping expenses,grooming,etc. So please don't think Gayle is living large on the money she makes. If you are are a puppy miller then its a different story because the money is not spent back on the dogs. So for her to go out and buy a brand new computer is out of the question at this time. So really you need to quit your whining already about her computer and what she spends her money on. That quite frankly is none of your business. If it is so imprtant to you for her to get a computer then why not buy her one. I assure you your complaints will be dealt with and taken care of as soon as possible. As for the hips when you do go get them xrayed make sure it is by someone who knows how to do it correctly. I know my vet referred me to someone who is expeirienced in xraying hips. If it turns out there is something wrong then gayle will address that when the time comes. If you notice 99% percent of all of these complaints have been since she has moved. The move has disrupted her normal buisness practices. Moving from one state to another when you are breeder is not the easiest thing I assure you. She is trying to get everything back to normal she did return patricias deposit so give her credit for that. Even returning the deposit patricia still insists on being intent on doing gayle in. Get off it allready for crying out loud I hope one day when you make a mistake that you dont get this treatment. Gayle will not repond on this board for one because she doesnt have a working computer and two because she doesnt have all the free time you guys obviously have she actually has to work pretty dam hard making sure her shepherds are in top shape. So go find yourselves a hobby I know how about spending time with your shepherds instead of hounding Gayle.

I have been reading the four threads here and the one on Leerburg. I don't know about the transactions in these threads, but I do know where Gayle Barnes (Ravenwolf Shepherds) is living now. I hesitate to publish such information on the web, but think I should provide it to people with legitimate reasons to find her (seems like the right thing to do). I tried contacting the Wills County attorney, as suggested, but I didn't have a contact person so nobody there could be of much help. I also tried to email Patricia at the email address that she provided but I got no response. Others have suggested getting their contact information through Leerburg but I have been unsuccessful trying to do that. I would like to help here, does anybody have any suggestions? I'd like to add a few things,why isn't Gayle responding to these accusations herself?Her computer is still down?I don't even own my own computer and yet I'm still able to respond to everyone.The only pics of my pup on her web site is when the pup was about six weeks old,no other pics.How am I supposed to collect on the warranty if she cannot be reached?The pup has a heart murmur.Once the dog is old enough to be x-rayed for hips,how am I supposed to contact Gayle should there be a issue with his hips?I can go on and on about this situation, but this headache has lasted far longer than I would like.As far as Gayles reputation as a reliable breeder,if people ask me where I got my dogs I'll tell them they are from a pound before I'll ever mention Ravenwolf Shepherds.This has been a nightmare from the start,and if you had a good experience with her than good for you but as you can see there are many people who did not.Let Gayle defend herself.Oh thats right...her computers down-----for four months---time to buy a new computer with some of that hard earned money!

Susan, Yes you are correct the pic. and pedigree are on her website, but that is not what I was told ,and what about the microchipping, the trip to Tenn., the vets info, the pink slips. As far as the pics and pedigree go if I was supposed to print them off her website why wasn't I told this at the time of purchase? Why wasn't Gayle there to deliver the pup in person,why didn't she tell me before taking my money that she would be in Tenn. These are the questions I want answeres to.

Hi again this is Sue, I have read all the new accusations and comments and would like to express my thoughts and opinions on them. First off to Micheal you state you copied all the web pages before gayles site went down. Well then you would have pics of your puppy and the parents. Also you would have copies of the pedigrees as well. Also to answer you quoestion on cost with papers or without, many breeders of purebred dogs will charge higher for a papered dog. My Yorkie with papers was also 500.00 more than with out papers. This is something that is common practice with many breeders so this reall has nothing to say about gayles practices in regards to pricing. Secondly Jeff, Yes I have met you and in fact you were there when we went for our temperment tests. As you know Gayle has titled dogs in confirmation, has recieved certification in protection,tdi's,service dogs,and narcotics, search and rescue, cd, etc.. Her affiliations are legit, I have seen all the membership cards for dvg,usa club, gsdca, gsdca-wda, and apprentice judge cert for attf judge and evaluater cgc, and member of Iaadp, as well as a few others. I was there in person when she appilied for most of those certifications. As for Karola I was there when Don took her and your story seems a lil bit mixed up. She was not under fed or skinny. There were about 10 of us there when all the exchanges were taking place. I saw karola and played with her while we waited for don to get there. She was perfectly fine when I saw her. As a matter of fact she was 8 lbs heavier than when Gayle used to show her. She was not nor is a structurely heavy dog. She was Gayles top female the only reason Gayle was placing her in a pet home is because her last two litters had to be by c section and she did not want to put Karola athru that agian and since she is scaling down cause of her illness she decided to place karola as well as a few others. As for ralph and the pink slips, I remember being there many a night when she would get so ticked because ralph would not answer her emails nor her calls. Did Gayle not give you his address and email so that you could work on that together. i know for a fact she tried many times to get not only your papers but some of her own as well. I did recieve mine at the time I purchased my shepherd. I have seen in person all the emails to and from ralph and you on that matter. It seemed to me that you were both working on that. As for the academy and the money she owes you, how often did you pay for any training or jutes here and there. Did she not give you back the mats or does Jason still have them? when you started training with the bakers and jason did she not tell you that her and poni would get the bh for you. As a matter of fact didn't Jason work your dog at the academy on a deal you guys started before the academy opened. Gayle let you use the academy to work your dog.I know I did not see see back for training after the cgc and tt for quite a while. So who has been training your dog since about the age of 6 or 7 months cause i know it wasnt thru Gayle. I am not trying to bash you or discredit you as a peron but there are more sides to the stories then what is being told. I just wanted to add more to the stories that i personaly know or have witnessed. I have seen the titles and the awards and ribbons and trophies with my own eyes, I have atteneded numerous trials with Gayle from AKC on to protection. So I know she has titled dogs. In fact we were trying to get xaros BH but if you remember I had been pregnant at the time and did not continue the training on my part due to some pregnancy issues otherwise I would have continued with my training. I have no doubt that he would have earned his BH. My vet is very happy with his health and I have recieved numerous comments on his beauty and temperment. Infact I sometimes have people asking me if I would breed him to their females and of course I always say no. So am I pleased with my expeirience with Gayle, absolutely and I know for as many years as she has done this for ther only to be a handful of you complaining thats got to say something. As forany hip diplasia comments I have been there when someone called regarding that issue. I remember Gayle stating please get me a copy of the xrays and a letter from a certified raiologist to make sure that it is genetic and not due to an accident. She has never recieved any xrays to date. So is she to replace every dog because they state the dog has it? most breeders will ask for the dog back or that their vet has to do an xray as well. I can undestand that some of you are awaiting your papers and rest assured you will recieve them. I hope that when you do you will post here that you have recieved them. As far as her website being deleted, her computer is completely down and she is unable to retrieve her emails at this time. That is why her website is down. Gayle is trying to resolve all these issues in a timely manner and will address each complaint and attend to it. thank you for hearing me out,

I puchased my dog last August (2005). I paid the $2000. I received the undersized GSD, but like you, I only received a contract and no papers, or chip. Did you have to make your checks out to her boyfriend? She told me she wasn't established yet with her new bank. Many, many bad things happened during this transaction, and now that she has my money, I cannot locate her. If you could give me a copy of Maja and Aaron's pedigrees, I would be most appreciative. Maybe I could go through AKC to get some help with the papers? I love my dog, but then, I would love a mut from the pound. I just want my dog's papers and her chip, even though I feel that for $2000 she should be show quality, as promised by Gayle. I also want Gayle stopped. This has caused me a tremendous amount of grief and aggrevation. I don't have $2000 just to be thrown to the wind. I trusted her and what she leads everyone to believe on her website. FYI I also checked into some of the agencies and clubs her website says she belongs to = her affiliations with them are also false. If you have any suggestions or information, I would appreciate it. I submitted my own ripoff site, but no one has responded to it yet, but then it was only yesterday. St. Joseph, Illinois
